I sure would like to know what people are talking about when they insist the PWA is running Era and its otherwise managerless. Mange is its Admin in charge of everything but developers and Sales is its Dev admin. Its basically like having co managers so whats the problem. The PWA backed out of Era some time ago after getting a GP/FAQ team set up and getting Mange and Sales in place.

Does that mean Era wont have a manager? only if something happens to Mange/Sales?

I think the whole Co-Manger thing is working out quite well. One in charge of PR, one in charge of Dev. I think a system like that is perfect for Era as long as long as neither of them gets to big for their britches. However, I am sad to see Andy go. I liked him a lot and he did good work. So long

Splitting the administration in two sounds good on paper, but when it comes down to it, it's really not. There isn't a solid line between "Player Services" and "Development" so it causes a lot of confusion and frustation when trying to determine what is in your jurisdiction...especially since Mange and I don't communicate at all anymore.

and who's call is it to decide who is better for what position? what if sales is a better developer but you stick him as a dumb 'player services' admin? the system is stupid.

Or maybe they just need active staff? From what I'm seeing is that they don't want the administration to be there in the first place.

I think the problem lies in the fact that HoudiniMan actually said that a manager would be chosen, so both Admins are hanging out to hear who that will be. Not sure about the situation with Andy though, I guess he's dropped himself out of it now.

I'm not part of any decision anymore, either, so it's really up to you and HoudiniMan since HoudiniMan kicked me out of Era because of that thing with Deophite.

err... Sales is Dev Admin...Mange is PR admin... Sales does an excellent job at dev. However I cant say anything about Mange because I have barely seen him lately.

If Mr. Houdinidini still has the reins of Era he would be breaking his own rules? wich i think he would not xD.

I havent seen him lately at Era... but perhaps he should make a thread confirming that he will left Era under Sales and Manges control. this would clear things hopefully?

Well I'm confused.........again. I don't know what to say guys, I'll figure it out when I can be back on a daily basis next week. I'm hearing too many different versions from too many different people for any of it to have a common thread of logic.

A wise man once said to me "You don't have to like each other to work towards a common goal." The goal on Era is to keep the server working for the good of the player and to continue improving it. Its the basic goal of all servers, no public server is supposed to be a personal server for any one person or group. An unrealistic goal maybe but its the nature of the game itself. We tend to forget this isn't a private world designed to entertain a small group of friends, its a part of a larger game known as Graalonline and meant to be player friendly to everyone who visits.
