I think you should take names in-game, as well as have players pre-register, then you'll have a more successful turnout. I'd reccomend advertising in-game when your tourney is and telling players if they want to join then be online at that time. Then before your tourney, take more names for it.

The problem with pre-registering is players who have pre-registered don't always show up. I'll try to be on and make sure people go to their matches though.

This tourney, as a tourney should always be, is about quality not quantity. I dont mind it mutch if only a handfull come, I dont think anyone want to see Bahamutsteff flawing Graal99999999 3 times a row, Graal99999998 logging on frost, Graal99999997 jumping into the room and shooting poizike lame in the back in a tourney.

If you find your name above, be there at the start, set your nickname in that time to account name, that way you will have a *before your nickname, and stay till the end. If an opponent doesn't show up, the player without enemy automatically qualifies for next round, and the one that didn't show up is disqualified.

If you need to read the rules again, go to first page of this thread, if someone breaks one of these rules, hes disqualified from the showdown. For ocassional reasons, take screenshots of the matter and post these here.

Dont enter your duels unprepared, select the right class, disable card effects.

Right at this moment, there is not many players online, that actually registered. If it is going to happen, requires at least half of the registered players to be online, the reward is going to be gold appirces for the overall winner.

Edit: Showdown canceled, reason was the lack of participants. Out of 12 Registrations, no one except myself was on at the mentioned time it was planned originally. One hour later, as supposed, there still wasn't more than half of the participants there.

It's sad, people register for it, and agree to be there at the right time, known the rules the date and the time, but don't show up. Very less mentioned, that they might not be there, and aren't sure about it yet, so I added them to the list, but knew they might not be there. As for the rest, buhya.

The peoples that did show up, at least at the new time, stated to be one hour later, where Bahamutstetff, poizike, Dante396, MagikMasterMind, nataxo, muupig. I would have given it a go, but not even the participants there online where able to get all together and get this thing going.

Anyways, it was a try worth, and maybe someone wants to grab this idea off and get it going sooner or later, feel free to do so.

As for the reward jkool would have given golden appirces out, which seems to fit of course for an appirces duel tourney. If it went successfull there could have been such a turney once a month, and maybe special colored but else normal appirces for the winner, like a title to defend the next month.

Seems like you normally don't have a lot to laugh. Anyways it was supposed to be a player hosted event, to show skill and get above the talking about thus by acting.

If you need some gelat stuff, go on some snow races or whatever.
