Zone Wars + speeders = ?

about 2 weeks before,
Speeders received a NO, for add them permanently on Iricia.
Why not add the permanently on Zone Wars?

i think more players would play on.. and we could use some speeders.
we have very rarely occasions to play with...
(When nataxo host vehicle events on Gwars)

i think its a good idea, though you might want to nerf it to be more vulnerable to destroy it.
like mechs can kill them
make them a bit slower
spawn turrets with ability to destroy speeders and people >:]

Mm well if 1 speeder was enabled on Lightside along with two bikes that'd be interesting. At the moment the Darkside is extremely overpowered lol.

mech can make the difference.
At the moment, ther is 3 mechs on DArkisde.
Why not only give to Darkside : 1 mech and 1 speeder.

and for light side : 2 speeders, ans 2 bikes.

Well, if my meory is right, there was 6 speeders right? Let's just add two, or at least add one and remove some Mechs... Because getting teamed by three mechs+ isin't so fun.

If you can provide a system that will work (I can't stress the importance of that part enough) and recieve enough votes in favor of them coming back I will add spawns back.

Do note that I will make the final decision judging on the system proposed by the players. Everyone post your ideas and if Dan and I agree on it we will put speeders back.

Huwajux will be the devils advocate here. I'll be rather dissapointed with him if he doesn't destroy at least 3 propositions.

Hmm Speeders to overpowered they are hard to get down, Make something first to kill the speeders and then its very Cool.

Give light and Dark One speeder, One mech, and 2 bikes.

Now dark is better, because they have overpowered mechs.

on Zone wars, they are easy to destroy.
a mech can destroy a flying speeder.
and dont forget,
-dark and light side have
-Beam,
-tazers(dont rember the name exact of this melee weapon.)
-taze bombs.


Zone wars, have all weapons, which can do a *failure* on vehicles

The way I see it...

-Darkside is extremely overpowered at the moment
-In the past when Speeders were enabled there were 4 Spawn points for Speeders, I'm sudgesting 1 or 2 at most on Lightside
-As Pico said, Darkpowers class features Beam, Tazebomb, Electron and if you have it, Streamer (which can freeze speeders)

No, this isn't the answer. Vehicles were meant to be a key part of Zone Wars when it was first released and that shouldn't be changed. The simplest solution would be to add 2 speeders to the Light Side, therefore people rarely become overwhelmed by them and you even have a chance to take both speeders down if you are all alone.

The planets made to have some vehicle activity. If we remove all vehicles Lightside would be overpowered.
Lightside Speed > Darkside Speed
Lightside also has increased damage Plasmasabre lol (2 hit kill)

well, i havent experienced many Speeder events...most of time time I host them.

but i think that with a speeder you want scape very far away and get to places VERY quickly, so why nerf the speed a bit so they are more....destroyable :u

i know the are bothersome but, if the speeders wouldn't have been created the helicopters would still be on Zone debug because i believe that some scripts that are used for the speeders are also used in the Helicopters........

Speeders were nothing but an annoyance in Zone Wars if you played Dark Side. Speeders in general annoy me, even when they're on my team.

You used to be able to before, but Stefan mis-interpreted my suggestion. I originally wanted a driver and a passenger who sits on the trunk of the bike. The driver wouldn't be able to shoot but the passenger would be free to shoot in any direction.

Stefan, instead, made it so two bikes could be linked together and anyone could shoot.

A couple of your friends doesn't constitute as 'almost everyone'.

If people were able to shoot on the bikes then the gameplay would become too focussed on the necessity of being in a vehicle to survive. At the moment it is in a decent balance.
