Updating GuiTextListCtrl

I have a problem with updating a GuiTextListCtrl. I update it in a low timeout, but the problem is everytime it's updated, it resets the selection and scrolls back to the top. I solved the selection problem easily enough, but I can't figure out how to fix the scrollbar issue... any help?

Would something like this work?

That's what I'm doing right now with the selection.

edit: I'm hoping I don't have to go through all this for each text list though...

edit 2: It works, but there is a jump in the scrollbar as it's refreshed and moved back... not what I'm looking for.

It would help to know what this is for. Chat system? Automated text?

Why? What it's for doesn't change the fact that when a text list updates, it scrolls back to the selected row.

Oh, my bad. I misread and thought you were speaking about a GuiMLTextCtrl.
