Having played back when Zone was still in its infancy, I remember a lot of things that many of you may not.

I recall a time back before cookies were around, when Medkits were all you had. I remember a time when Medics were actually useful. When it was a class we NEEDED.

Now I see less and less Medics and I hardly ever need them. I kill friendly medics all the time because they just get in my way. Back in Old Zone they made up for it because they were vital helpers.

Dark Soul brought my attention to this initially, but I want to get everyones opinion.

Cookies, should they stay or should they go?

Cookies should go, they don't fit Zone at all. Versions of cookies should only be released for holidays.

Why not add "Bandages" or something? To replace "Cookie" ;P.

Absolutely not. The point of removing cookies is to REMOVE them, not replace them with something else.

Hmm, well knowing this I still feel cookies should be removed, even if they aren't replaced by anything.

While the medic class is slow it is still a fun class to play.

the cookies have esentially taken the fun out of playing as a medic. This item is bought by the tons everyday and when you shoot someone enough (and if they are quick or hotkeyed it) they will eat like 2 or 3 cookies to fully heal.

There is no need for this. The medic class is there for a reason.

You never played in Old Zone, evidentally.

First off, there's something called MEDKITS. Use those to heal.

Second, medics are supposed to be slow and they have extremely lame weapons to compensate for it. Syringe? Crossbow? Appirces? Any of those ring a bell?

Hey, hey.. the weapons aren't that lame, trust me.

But yeah, cookies need to get the boot. Changing the look or name won't change my mind, nor the minds of others who support this. A medkit is ALL YOU NEED, and it should be all that is given, although I think even more restrictive measures should be put on anything that self-heals. (The medic class is already nerfed when you heal yourself, healing a little more than half of what you'd normally heal players other than yourself.) Oh, and NO XMAS COOKIES, sneaky buggers.

The medic class can't heal large groups in a short period of time, due to the large amount of energy it takes to heal, but a medic is still always a great asset to have around. Oh, and another note about the weapons- medics can STILL USE GELAT WEAPONS, like any other class. WE KNOW that you can't get commando or scout speed, but that's a sacrifice to be made in order to get the ability to heal yourself and allies for FREE.

Edit- Oh, another thing... People may start to run to the dropship very often since they can't heal as much. Oh well, guess it'll still be more fair for newbies and trial players that are trying to kill gold players that not only have gelat weapons and a twenty hitpoint bonus over free players, but 10x 20hp restoring cookies and 5x 40 hp restoring medkits (And a disposable income for buying more and more and more and more...)

Zone is a futuristic 2D PvP game....i'd say its preety normal that cookies can heal you up lol

If anything, they'd taste like granite and wouldn't be able to be scarfed down in such unhealthy amounts that would normally induce vomiting, if not from taste, then quantity.

Gold players are allowed to assign items, such as weapons, grenades, tools, radio voices/commands, and disposable items like cookies and medkits to specified keys of their choosing.
