I hope it will be. I suggested this years ago.

-maybe make it so if a player right clicks on one of the items it will bring up the stats for that item (maybe just guns).

Houdini and I spoke at length about this.

I believe we're going to opt for an indoor mall with a screen outside that rotates through the active stands, who owns them, and what they're selling.

Another way for players to get kills? They might look from the outside where its a pk zone and someone runs along and shoots them

no. that is no where near his reasons to wanting to bring the mall outside. he wants people to be able to see "what's going on" at the mall without actually having to go inside (and yes, this is pretty much what he said on RC)

keep in mind that this outside mall was going to be placed in that huge patch of grass south west of unstick (north of ammo mart) that whole lot filled with trees. lol

Well, maybe Yocas' statement has to be rephrased, but let's just look at it like this:

The regular Era player is a driver without a license
Era staff members have a driver license
Houdini doesn't drive and has no license (kinda)

I wasn't suggesting that we create a NEW no-pk zone for this outdoor market.
I was thinking of just having one outdoor no-pk zone, unstick me, which would double as an outdoor market. I say this because the mall always seems to go dead after people get bord of it, after a few months after its release. Or late at night there were never any people in the mall. The mall/stalls would constantly be in use if you placed 3-4 of them around unstick me.

I'm not really sure how this digital display sign would work for the indoor mall idea. But from the sound of it I dont really like it. Why stand there and read the sign with people trying to shoot at you, when you could just go inside and look around.

I liked that guys idea about window shopping. All the items that are for sale in the mall at the time get displayed in the window of the outdoor level of the mall. Have a table or shelves or what ever that the items would appear on in the window. People could walk by and easily see what was being sold at the time. Hopefully keeping the mall active.

How about putting the mall underground, maybe into grotto? I mean, the players are "gangsters" anyway, why would they use an official mall building to sell their goods?

The mall sees alot of use when its systems function properly and it doesn't get shut down every week.

I can live with that kind of game style. That's pretty much why I used to play Eve Online. Am I the only one here that would like to have something as adventurous and thrilling as that?

Solution: Make some friends and form a party for protection or make use of PPA.
