Post Post Reset Gang System

What would everyone think about a Crew<Party<Gang system?

Points
•Points would be gained by killing someone in a crew, party, or gang that is not in yours or is allied with yours.

Crew
•A crew would be able to be created by anyone like the party system is now.
•Once a crew gets a specific amount of points it's then upgraded to a party.

Party
•A party would allow more people to be recruited than a "crew"
•A party has the ability to take over "Party Bases".
•Once a party gets enough points it turns into a gang

Gang
•A gang would allow the maximum number of members
•Depending on the order the parties reached the set number of points determines the order in which each gets to choose where there base is and the gang gun.
•Then that will be Era's new gangs after the reset.

Variables
• Instead of only being able to take over bases parties get to have permanent bases.
•Continuous struggle of Crews/Parties after gangs are chosen
-ex: Events may be hosted in which a certain party or parties bases are able to be taken by a crew for a period of time and the crew replaces that party and officially owns the base.

If you guys have anything you want to add or comment on go ahead, just make sure it is constructive if there is criticism.

I like the Idea, It would be alot work tough, This would also mean that we wont have Private gangbases anymore? So we would have more Party Bases?

Why I don't like it:

It would spark a competition to recruit the most/best members, and create an unbalance in each gang. To add, the leader of the crew/party/gang may not be the best choice.

What we should do:

Instead of clumping up the gang-bases on one main island, why not form smaller islands, that contain a gangs "civilization." Each island would include the gang base, gang houses, an ammo/armor shop, and other such things. I think this would be neat, because it would add a different "feel" to each gang. Some gangs would be "ghetto" style, and some would be "shaolin" style. It would actual be like you were going into somebody's territory, instead of just saying "unstick me" and walking two feet to get to BH's base.

Also, you could take over the added houses, which would divide each gangs army, instead of having it clumped together in one main-base.

I agree with Aldaris with the island part, but no one crew or party could choose the "most" members because there would be a maximum number allowed. Also the point is to have the best members that way gangs would be the most active and skilled deserving the spot of the top of the pyramid.

Sounds decent. Could use a little tweaks though.

Couldn't they just pay trials to give them free kills, which would give them added points?

They'd probably have it so you have to kill a set amount of people before you can kill the same person to gain points.

Trials definitely wouldn't count. Anyone could just log on a trial and get kills that way.

Do trials make up Era's playerbase? If trials are dominant they should count as points.

What about regular members? Nobody cares about their stats, so they could just do what I said, and than reset their stats after.

Well like I said none of it official or anything so maybe if you just had the gang admin have them change their name IF they ever reach gang stage.

Two main things I would like to change about your idea.
-Points need to be gathered in more ways that just killing enemies.

-This should be a continuous ongoing cycle. Parties should always be able to replace one of the current gangs, by surpassing it in points for that month. <<Example.

Think about how much time and effort staff could save if a perfect system was designed to govern gangs. A system that was made to run flawlessly on its own without any staff intervention.
It would make gangs better. Because it would insure that only the best leaders and members were chosen to actually become a gang. Gang leaders and their members would have to struggle from the ground up just to become a gang, making the bond between them stronger.

I originally pictured it that way, however, with gang guns, naming, tags, ranks, would be too much for gangs to be able to be taken over without staff intervention. It would be able to be done with parties though if an event was automatically hosted weekly or monthly and the name over the base then became the crew that took it over and it then belonged to them.

Or you could keep the gangs there are now and use this system for the empty spot and if a gang fails for a certain period of time mabye this could replace it? I know then gangs really don't have interest in taking part in this system then but I would hate to see gangs like they are go away

I kind of liked the competition with the party system a year or two ago.

If parties are getting in the way of gangs, it should say something about your gang system.

Agreed, the party system, in my opinion lowers gang activity and is a waste of time. Period.

I'd rather keep the party system. It gives people something to do. PK Parties are actually kind of fun. Also, it would be stupid doing a quest and having your buddies do more damage to each other than the actual targets.
