What do you want to edit?

Okay everyone. I've made this thread so we can talk about what we would like to edit. It can go along maps, to weapons!

I'll start this off, starting with weapons.

Weapons:

Knives:
I'd like to see the throwing distance bigger. Have you seen when you throw a knife, the gani goes further then the actual Knife? I think we should be able to throw it at the same distance, since knife is already an ''Hard to use weapon, against guns''

Erbeheamer:
Since this weapon lost his popularity, I tough about:
1. Make the shots taking less energy.
2. Add 1 dmg?

Photon:
Have you noticed how photon is ''The Perfect Weapon''?
Good range, insane damage, good shooting speed.
Contrarelly to the other weapons, I would like to see this one nerfed, by
1. Reducing damage
2. Reducing the Shooting Distance and Freezetime.


Maps:

Iricia:
Get our old Iricia back. That would be an insane change.
I also tought of an edit to iricia:
The Anti-Base Laming System (ABLS):
When the players of the opposing team are in your HQ, I'd would help alot if theire weapon dmg would be reduced by 50 Percent. This would end the Base Laming age.

LOL! Anyone with skill could still lame with 50 percent dmg.

Everyone has these complaints about weapons. You should be asking "Who's going to do this?" Does Stefan even read the Zone forums?

Maybe it takes skills to keep owning with 50Percent off, but this would be the lamer's problem. Even tough, the players in theire own HQ won't have this 50Percent away, since the goal is to get away/get kills/to stay alive. It's about time Iricia get known the way it was before.

And the way I know Zone ATM, overpowered weapons are rageing.
22dmg > 11dmg

Yes, you are completelly right. Hopefully he will take that time and make one of his ''Money Making'' server revive. I try to help because the way I see this, Zone is playing death. Give it like 5 monthes the way it is right now, and the playercount would drop to 5.

Maps: I would like to see the old Iricia. I would also like to see it have an actual SECRET passage, not like the current not secret secret passage.
Edit: You could have players warp in as far from other team's (In the vicinity of their base/side of the map)
I would like to see spar redone to have a team part (But that is more of a new idea)

Some things I would like to see changed:
Platform redone with some new concepts to make fighting more interesting.
Jumprace with different courses.
Lavaevent with different variations and changes in the map.

Some things that would be cool for every gmap:
Have multiple variations. This means we could have Iricia change every round if we wanted (First Iricia, Ugly Iricia, Current Iricia)
DM could have different shapes and could be sized differently
Guild wars could have the stream change aspects of the map. It could even have like three collapsible bridges. You could make the bases surrounded by water and have several bridges.
Koth could have variations with two teams, and the gmap could change to the current map when it has enough players for more than 2 teams. Maps for 2, 3, and 4 teams.
Iricia with different amounts of bases, thoroughly changing aspects of the game play.
CTF with less trees.... You could have an actual SECRET, not secret like Iricia secret bunker secret, passageway across part of the map.

I guess I'm weird. I like secret passages.

Personally I would like to see all the maps have different variations for each round.

Oh and Stefan reads these forums sometimes I think. And even if he doesn't, if Dan sees it Dan can always direct him to this thread.

SN, I love that idea about Map Variation.

The way I see this, it would make every round, a new game to players, but I would like to see this on deathmatch. I don't really think it would be so good with Iricia. I also liked the idea about new Platform races. It's getting boring at long, so do Event Planet.

Adding to this post another edit that would be nice to me:
Sabre:
I would like to see a Throw Sabre skill added to lightsabre, available on Gwars Only. Even tough, this would need a Gani.

Or just nerf it so it doesnt shoot so fast or make it less freeze so you dont get caught in its line of fire everytime.

And I agree with the photon... It needs to be nerfed.

The metallic rifle had a lot of power before, it was TOO strong. Then they changed it down like 7 power. I think if they raised it by two or three it would be a bit better.

Lag != Latency

Stop using "lag" instead of "latency", lag affects FPS (Frames Per Second) while latency affects your Internets input/output speed.

Oh and Elizabeth, if you were far from him yet he killed you with a chainsaw, you were to 99% certainty having a high latency. Just because you see yourself (and others) in one location, doesn't mean that's where they actually are - it all depends on how fast your connection receives data (to update where others are and do) as well as how fast you send data (to tell the server your new location and what you are doing).

Ideas:
Gwars/Guilds/Parties - I think they should make Zone more community oriented. I say that they either:

A.: Add a in game "party" or guild system in which you can instantly make a simple party (much like the system on era), and those can be used throughout Zone. These will be allowed to submit a request and have their own parties either hold a mutual match against another guild/party; and/or that said party could "challenge" another online party and or online/offline guild. The challenge would remain until viewed by the leader/co-leaders of the party or guild, and could be accepted or declined. These parties could be discerned by name tags (such as the parenthesis used for guilds) or through simple symbols generated with random shapes and colors *ex. a red star*.
*Kinks need to be worked out*

B.: Major guilds could submit symbols, and they could be attributed to that guilds tag. Guilds would have to meet a certain requirement to gain these symbols (such as guild ranking, a new system of "zone exclusive" guild ranking, or Activity rating). Whilst that tag is on *and said player isn't already playing on a in-game team* it appears. And while playing on gwars, these tags become active and multiple guilds can play against other guilds or the server. The tags would either disapear or be overlapped when that player goes in-game on most planets *except for DM, Spar and Alpha (playing on no team)*.

C.: As mentioned before, guild members or guilds could be exclusively ranked for the server, so that only actions made while on tag "in Zone" would be recorded. Special achievements by a player in a prominent guild could boost that players guild ranking, and special "guild commands" could be utilized to reward players who delved into the system.

@chainsaw Bullets, LOL. Chainsaw is fine. It has a longer range then the gani shows though. But when it's turning on it reduces your speed so.. if you get caught by one you just phail at running.

Why does everyone call it "Irpulsar"? Isn't it "Lrpulsar"? It says that in the little info box thingy when you pull out the weapon. Anyways, I liked SN's double spar idea even though it isn't new. Also, Photon needs a higher freeze rate, like a little less than Erbeamer. Photon is way lame.

If you're having trouble seeing the photon bullets edit it so it's a different color.

I was fighting against some people with assault pistoles. They suck? Could of been the player though.
