Benefits for different ranks

well, this topic i originaly found it at ravens iricia idea, but since i found the topic very intresting i decided to make a thread about it.

this is about ideas for the ranks, like something you need to fight for to achive something in the game, months ago we could say it was the weapons sold at the zone shop( you had to earn some money to buy them) but now they're gelat worth:/
like in the soldier rank you can finally use plasmasabre,muramasa and stormrifle. but after that nothing else but the sabre color..

so this thread is for you to put ideas about what kinds of things could posibly achive once you get a certian rank or even money.

reasonable things guys

Wait isn't ET the rank after legend?

The only way that idea would work would be if they released a large amount of weapons to every class or had a shop that gave special weapons for ranks.

Stefan would never go for it because there are no benefits to them to give us weapons for rank instead of for gelats. It would be nice to have some more incentives for reaching every rank level, but it seems like an awful lot of work for something that ultimately wouldn't happen.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic or anything, but why would they just release a weapon for almost no reason at all when they can get money out of it by putting it in the gelat shop?

It would be nice to see the plasmasabres gain 1-2 power aswell as chaning color. Maybe once you reach an amount of kills with a certain weapon you can use it in other classes,idk kinda like every 500-1000 kills you can gain a class with it.

I think people would agree with the fact that part of Zone's fun is the fact that anyone has a good chance of beating anyone with the same weap. You wouldn't take that away you monsters... :'(

Uhmm when I play zone my mind is'nt focused on killing players with the same weapon to have fun. If thats what your trying to say...

I think there should be more 24/7 open planets like iricia, alpha spar, ect. Not just when an ET is online then they can just go open Zone wars or Platform. Because otherwise everyone is just usually at Iricia which gets boring at times.

Exept...

Platform- Just lame with photon.
Wars- Take flame grenades/bombs go behind the darkside team's energy source or whatever it is and through the flames at it.

both are worse lamers paradises then iricia is.

since zone money don't make the irl money for cyberjourers don't expect anything good from the gelat shop to hit the zone shop

No it shouldn't, the ranks are fine as is.

If anything should happen ranks should unlock you items that do not benefit you in any way.

It should get weaker. As you rank up, it should be because you've gained skill. With skill you don't need more strength. But if it's weakened, and you still fight with it, the game will still be a challenge for yourself to improve.

Nah, people get skill with different weapons.Like people lean towards one wep, if you never used a saber before, why shoudl it get weaker?The 5 weapons you have the most kills with should. o: Make things harder.

There should be some type of motive to make people strive for a higher rank. Punishing players by decreasing the power of their weapons is a horrible idea for all your information...

Should be a reward with the same concept as Plasmasabre, new colours that don't add benefits to the weapon itself.
Maybe new Gani's to use with the weapons? Makes sense that if your rank increases then the funky things you can do with a weapon increase to.

Gani Effects at X Rank. Example...
Pistols (Single) - Toss the pistol from hand to hand to equip it. Maybe spin the pistol on your hand or something?

Theres an example of what I'm talking about. If you like the idea post some other effects?

It's not a horrible idea for people who want to have a challenge. T_T

I still like the Auras idea.]: I want a black/blue/white glow around me while i use apps.

Anyhow, I was thinking that instead of benefits there could be NEW ranks. Depending on the weapons you have the most kills with. After Legend you get a New Rank depending on the weapon you have the most kills with.

Ex:Red Pistoles Specialist/Master/Legend/Elite/God/Etc

And with every rank up you get, you get a 1-2 Added more damgage to that weapon. ( The Rank Can Change. When it does you will have to start all over, and you won't have the buffs you had with the last weapon )

Or maybe you can duel wield 2 different pistols once you hit legend. =] That might be lame but theres alot of lame things in Zone. =]

That'd be kinda wierd..Becase different pistols have different freeze times,etc.

KV + Apps = wtf. One shoots fast, and the other kinda slow.
