idea to stop base laming!

hi the other day i was base laming storms base and i realized this cute noob apparently confused was trying to shot rockets at the lamers, but he couldnt because a messsege sed; "rockets can only be shot at friendly bases" i guess he though HIS HOME BASE WAS A FRIENDLY BASE and tried to shot, but failed and got horribly chainsaw lamed.

so maybe this can stop base laming, shoting rockets from your spawn base so enemys cant get too close.

just an idea

The base you spawn at really is your base... I don't see why you wouldn't be able to shoot rockets from it.

Wow people it's seriously not that hard. If you wanna stop it, you fight your way out and don't ctrl+H every single person with an ounce of skill.

Start taking over bases instead of going straight outside of their base.

That feels good and was funny. Base laming is not funny anymore.

But that idea about the rockets is good, I really Want it. But I don't think it help to stop base laming xD

Holy cow, so true. I was recently playing Zone a bit again, and there were people who ctrl+v'ed me when they shot me, and I didnt even know these guys >.< It's quite annoying, you think you can hop in a cool fight, they shoot you, they use the sorry emote, you shoot back, they run with a flood of ctrl+c.

Yeah it has become a big problem for me because no one really fights anymore, they just let one another lame the other's home base. You gotta fight back and ****ing capture the other bases so the other team is forced to play.

well, i guess you can have your small guild of 5-7 pleyers, but if enemys you dont know at all want peace out of nowhere its just a small decision to kill them or not. this problem the community has to fix it ourselves.

just think about Stefan, he kills ANYONE in his way, and he still has many friends....

I don't recall buying cheap, laming weapons from the gelat shop being skillful, and I think rockets should be allowed in the spawn base. They're the main bases for a reason, and they need to be hard for anyone to get into them that wants to just "shoot everyone up." Rockets are fairly expensive for newbies to use, so the gelat noobs shouldn't try to fidget too much about it. The only problem I see about the rockets, is that the Storm Riders' base platform is more spread out, while the Sweep Fleets' base is just a rectangular platform, but even then it wouldn't affect it too much, due to the way the cliffs surrounding the bases are laid out.

Of course, people with jetpacks have a very distinguishable advantage above those who are restricted to the ground. Jetpacks can exit the main base in a matter of seconds, invulnerable to any campers that would do them harm, but as for those left on the ground, they must fend for themselves. Their only way off the main platform are two ladders in the front, which are able to be spammed with proxy or bike mines, boxes to block the way, and of course, mortar barrages. Once they get off the platform, there is the matter of more mines, and spawn lamers going after them in packs, like wild animals. They'll try with whatever tools they have to put them back in their spot: atop the spawn platform, at the mercy of the campers. If they can make it away from the platform far enough, then there are the bikes; Either salvation, or a common booby trap. Taking time to destroy the mines or whatever may be under the bike that may be preventing a quick means of escape can take time, and lamers will not wait when there is an easy target.

Alas, this can all be avoided with a jetpack.

It isn't odd at all. This idea actually makes sense because the rocket launcher should work on our home base.
This won't necesarily put a stop to base laming but it can help and it makes sense. The rocket launcher has never worked from a home base and it really does make sense. I don't admit that base laming is a problem but this can help to stop it if you are getting base lamed.

Giving people insane amounts of experience does not do any good, that is why no one supported your idea. Your idea would not have worked because there is nothing you gain from a higher rank so after most players reached soldier they would most likely go back to base laming. If there were benefits to higher rank levels, your idea might have worked.

quite true, you could fly with jetpack to avoid rockets. though if you keep firing 2-4 rockets and walking away you could have a chance to escape.(maybe).
PERHAPS if rockets would hurt people using jetpacks forcing them to go away would help the victims..

turrent+rockets+ a decent defense at a home base = could stop people from coming through..

Yes! It would be great to be able to use rocket launchers on your home base. Just make it so sweep fleet members can't use their rocket launchers when they are on the storm rider base.

Well it makes sense that its added. And it would help out the base laming issue.

I think someone may have mentioned this, but a rocket Turret may be nice. Mino drew the point that newbs don't have rockets. An infident supply from one turret would be an idea. I'm sure a turret that doesn't run out of rockets would push a team away from another teams spawn base.

But Trial Accs dont have gelats to buy a jetpack. You can say: Then they must buy gelats. But if they wont? then musn't they play! NO Cuz then you have every day 6 players online Only gold And that isn't fun.

theres other servers. they could train in the spar arena first, then try to killl some. or they could just get their team together and all warp to the hq at once and raid it, killing the enemies that are laming. that idea is free too

Ofcourse not! Because All that gold people are on iricia Base laming. And when you only on sparring you cant spar. And When there people in spar they laming with CHAINSAW or CHAINGUN. And afther 2 times he quit the spar. And then he Dont have any world where he can play.

This "Rocket Launcher" idea really would be useful. But it would push players into the central parts of the map henseforth, the bases. This would shorten rounds and reduce kills for humble base lamers such as me

. If this rocfket launcher idea comes through would we not ruin Iricia's element that players love all together?

iricia i thought was meant more for base capturing then spawn base laming.

i had put forth the idea of maybe giving out extra exp for capturing and holding b1-b5.

I single handedly managed to clear out 3 new-gen cash noobs and take over every base. We won the round shortly after and tears ensued.

Ok, this rocket launcher thing SUCKS. Now you get close to 10 kills on Iricia when you would get 100. All people do is stand at their base with rocket launcher, being nearly untouchable unless you have sniper. But then, with sniper's accuracy the y will see your shot marker and send a rocket your way. And the select few that do come out usually have jetpack and therefore gelats. They have a chance in hell ofstanding up to the force the stronger team is. I say death to the rocketlauncher!

people with jetpack mostly evade rockets, this way you can get into the enemys bunker and suddenly come out in a surprise attack or something

although if the enemy is already at your base it becomes more dificult to scare them away with rockets, since they kill you preety fast.(i use grenades in this cases)

what you should do is start concentrating more on bases other than try to reach the enemys base to lame.

Lol, the object of Iricia is not to lame the **** out of the other team's HQ. You shouldn't even be near the other team's HQ if you are playing correctly.
