Is this really a problem? There are special filters when posting something, it isn't related to the swear filter. It usually only triggers if you add some numbers after the percentage.

Yes, it is a problem. It also happens when not having anything behind the percent signs.

yes it is..
most of the bad request on the forums is the percent sign..
and u have nubmers before the percent sign not after o_O ( as in 50 percent no as percent 50)

You're unable to post some scripts due to this, so yeah, it's a big problem.

Ya... it's a big problem... hence why it's been posted about so much.
In an average post it's not that big of a deal because we can just work around the percent sign... but just about nearly every script has to be attached because of the bad request screwing up the post. Go through code gallery and you'll see most of the scripts are attached.

But in response to some other posts in the thread, the duplication of an item was not at all possible 100(percentsignhere!) of the time. You had to actually wait for the server to completely lag out or crash before it became possible (Often caused by classic backups being created/zodiac going down when it was hosted on the same terminal), and even then, it didn't always work.

See how the guy had to work around the system? Not cool.
