More Power

A lot of the time, I will actually get a fairly quick response on the support center (2-3 days usually). But the problem is, my response is "we don't have rights to do that on UC servers ..."

So, I have to wait MUCH longer for Stefan or Ibonic to do it. Usually months, if it EVER gets done.

How about giving the playerworld admins some more power? The same goes for the GST. Why can't the GST come restart servers? And, more so, why can't playerworld admins have the power to come restart my gserver when the owner hasn't been on for weeks?

I propose that PWAs should have more power so that we don't have to wait so damn long for one of the higher-ups to help us.

Posting a poll as well, I don't know exactly why.

i think that the globals are fine with the power that they have currently.

Why? Have you never run in to problems that take weeks to solve due to them having no power to due anything?

If things are going slowly they don't need more power - they need more globals. I'd rather see the power limited and lots of them than a few high powered individuals.

That's true, but a hundred globals that can't restart my server still do no good.

It really doesn't matter if you trust them personally or not. It's a matter of benefit for the entire community. But we've seen in the past how "moar powr" isn't such a good idea.

I agree that there should be more people who can handle problems better, but just saying "globals need more power" is wrong imo. There are even certain people who have too much power if you ask me..

This thread is not about Bell, it's about Globals in general. Globals should have more power. I can't help but to think if you vote "No" it's because you're kind of ignorant to what really goes on in the global scene. The fact that they all have to go ask Stefan to do something is ridiculous. They were hired for the reason of support yet they can't support anyone without Stefan. It's not even an issue of personal trust, if globals can't be trusted with power, they simply shouldn't be a global.

I think they shouldn't have any more power. Their connection with people like Stefan or Ibonic is small enough.

Small indeed. It's sometimes hard for them to get in contact with them, and they should have the power to do their job, since it's their job. Honestly, the only reason I could think of anyone to vote "no" at this point would be because they're power hungry and don't want anyone too high above them. From the responses I've seen by the people who voted "no," it's the only reason I can truly deduce.

I've been told many, many times that they can't whenever I ask. That, or they are just lazy and therefore tell me to go get Ibonic.
