All day today, Symphonia (currently dev black_prince), will be open to the public, and will be returning to staff only at the end of the day.

Upon first log in you will be reset, don't let this discourage you, you can still log in

Not working for me, logged in and it reset me...then tried to login again and I got disconnected. Now it won't even connect to the server.
Having said that, I think your server went down.

I'm not sure how you managed to get it down, but "black_prince" needs to relogin to get the server up again.

It happened after I invoked a script funtion (/admin Test). Blarg. x.x

Ok to make it quicker I've updated the server, restarted it and also set the name to "Symponia" again, should work fine now

Ah, Thank you. That saves a lot of time on our part, seeing as how "black_prince" never comes on xD

I have another problem. Some of the functions don't work, such as the images on the overworld, admin messages, etc.

Like I said when I visited the server, there was only one thing I didn't like... your main HUD and Inventory looks almost identical to Maloria's, and, you guys should really consider redesigning it.

Other then that, I liked what I saw so far!

however I don't like the level 20 limit I seem to have hit :/

Also I don't like the staff blocks blocking my way to the shop

I think the similarities has to do with the color and overall design. The buttons on the exp bar are very similar to Maloria's button icons, and the Qmenu design is also similar.

I don't think it's similar enough to cause problems, but you never know.

Oh, and ya... taking tiles and ramping up the contrast and brightness=ugly. Way too dark and the clashing brightness vs darkness isn't helping.

About the shop, your suppose to double click him to bring up menus :o

People were complaining on not being able to sell, because you can buy stuff

Anyways, it was a fun day, we had around 16-18 players when I was on and we did get alot of ideas and player thoughts about the server.

The next 'free day' on Symphonia we will have some more.. 'flesh on the bones', including stuff like interacting, questions and maybe tutorial (plus other nifty stuff)

PS: The server is still open though, we'll probably close it later today

I couldn't even do anything. First time I stepped out of the OSL I was lagged by a ton of blocks with text on each one of them. I didn't have any items, but I went east to the forest and tried killing some stuff... more than half my punches didn't do anything and my health was going down way too fast

Well, I've removed the blocks (I have no idea why they were put there). For about 2-3 hours that I've been on already I've been debugging damaging, critting and such

I'll also made it so it should add a dagger on first login (You can also ask me if you haven't got one) :o

Anyways, we do have a forum where we post stuff from time to time

I'm not bashing, I'm just saying that they're too similar for my likings. Couldn't find a screenshot of the Maloria inventory, but it's more or less like Symphonia's. You guys most likely didn't rip it off Maloria, but I'm quite confident in saying that whomever made it got their inspiration from Maloria.

Anyways, do as you wish, you'd get more credits for originality if you considered redesigning it though.

Personally, I think Symphonia's is far sexier than Mal's. I don't know why, but I always thought Mal's menus were hideous.

What specifically are you referring to? The HP/MP bars? The level? The XP bar?

The GUI Symphonia is using has gone through a lot of wear and tear. It's simply by coincidence that they look the same. I have removed a lot of things from it, and made it smaller in the past. If you look closely, there's more things different than same. The main thing alike between them is the layout.

That's not something I would be proud of. I knew those scripts very well and I also knew just how hard they were to work with. I do have to give you credit though as they weren't as bad as the scripts on Zodiac. Now those are just a nightmare.
