Switch's video was boring as holy hell. Who the hell wants to watch you defeat some high level(I'm assuming, but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't even that) creatures with absolute ease, then gloating? Also you are all alone, the Trexes don't fit in with the entire look of everything else in the video, and, well, ffs, what more do I need to say? Who's retarded idea was it to put those graphics in? Aside from that though, I watched about 15 seconds in, hoped to the dear heavens above that the others weren't going to be as bad as this, then fast forwarded to the last second so I could at least have some closure for this scarring event.
PoJo's video I could not read at all, and all he did was stand (alone again I see, I guess no one really plays GK!) on a boat and talk. Oh, but as far as I know, his words were in Greek or Sanskrit, because I couldn't read a bloomin word, nevermind half a Hemmingway novel. This video held my attention for a total of 2 seconds, because that's how long it took me to see that it was useless.
Klay's video seemed to be developing a plot at the beginning. I was.. a little hesitant to believe that this could possibly be happening. After the first two, I wasn't sure whether I was the last person on Earth who had escaped the apparent frontal lobotomy convention. But lo! This one actually captivated me. I WANTED to see what would happen. Toward the middle, the battling was definitely dragged out a bit, and I had to fast forward through it because, well, just because. It was generally too long as far as I'm concerned. I don't really care to be watching something as simple as a Graal Kingdoms video for more than about a minute and a half. However, it had a fairly satisfying ending and--holy crap, did I say the last magic word? This video had a beginning, middle, and end! I do believe that means something.
Dark-Hashi's video was another snoozer. There really was no beginning, it just jumped into something, I'm not really sure what, watching it. I've never set foot into Kingdoms, which makes me the perfect critic for these videos. That being said, I couldn't really care less about the things in this video. It did have some music, which I appreciate. Always nice to soften up the dullness of sitting through textual dribble about things I couldn't give a damn about.
xAzerothx's video was by far the most attention catching of the five. It had a catchy tune, clear wording, a few jokes here and there. Hey! I was nearly bobbing my head to that one. But uh, aren't you supposed to make me want to play this game? And.. you're telling me what I need to provide to be able to play? That's more like laying out everything wrong with the game, my friend. Okay, money is something I'll need to get in the game. This one isn't so bad, but imagination and patience? A good game should bring these things out of a person, not demand them. I admit, this was the only video I was able to watch in entirety. It was fairly good--probably the best--in compilation, but as my teacher says "You can write the best ****ing paper I've ever seen, but if it's not on topic, you get a 0."
I voted for Klay's video, seeing as how it, you know, made me want to play the game. |
