I've been waiting for this for a while.
Many people have asked me to work on their server, help them out. Most of the time I turn them down, some times I do free lance. Why? I've been busy myself. I made another account and I've been working on this project for a long, long time... and haven't told anyone. Now it's come to the final stages of my project where all I'm doing is testing and I thought I could let everyone know.
The basics is that you customize your weapon, not yourself. The style lets you level up your weapon, change attributes, and then when ready you can forge it into a completely new weapon. I have made nearly a hundred just for launch and plan to keep adding onto it. The way it works in the system is a spider web of sorts that you can branch off into different swords depending on the stats and what items it is forged with. This allows you to go through and always want to find a new weapon no one else has. Not only that, but you can find many weapons and do it over and over... it's not limited to just one sword. I may also include different weapons in the future. You can also buy different scabbards to hold your sword in and there is tons of customizing. I won't go into it in detail though.
Story? Nothing special, and I won't be posting about it anyways. On other stuff... I've been working on a world for a long time, I've sketched out dozens of maps until I found one I was happy with. There are caves, forests, many villages and towns and a few large cities. There are even a few dramatic areas such as an island in the sky, ruins and dungeons. Speaking of which, there are many quests and a few full scale dungeons. I've also made fully custom sprites from scratch and they're already done and animated. In these areas are lots of different types of monsters, ranging from small and simple to the typical RPG blob to huge that will take multiple people to take down.
Either way, since I've kept it under wraps and I'm just about done and all I have to do is a few more days of testing, I thought I would give you all a heads up and even a sneak peak of it. Only one image though, but I will post when I'm finished and then take it through the right people. There is no need to wait, because I wanted to finish it before I announced it so I don't set any expectations. I've extremely happy with how much work I put into it and I can't wait to let everyone play it.
