Saving to scriptfiles? X.x

I'm using a save command (savelines - append) and no matter what I do, it saves to scriptfiles/ instead of control/bloo/logs/

Here's the (npcserver) rights:
rw CLASSES/*
rw WEAPONS/*
rw WEAPONS/*/*
rw WEAPONS/*/*/*
rw NPCS/*
rw */*
rw */*/*
rw */*/*/*
rw */*/*/*/*
rw */*/*/*/*/*
rw */*/*/*/*/*/*
rw */*/*/*/*/*/*/*

Any ideas?

You have to set SPECIFIC folder rights.
For example:
rw mud/*
rw mud/players/*

etc

If you are using save commands clientside, they will save to scriptfiles/ on the user's computer regardless. You need to make sure the NPC-Server has fairly specific rights (don't use wildcards like that; it is hellishly insecure and is just waiting for someone to break something) and do it serverside.

This is completely unrelated to you or your systems.

It's for logging actions on my tools in an easier-to-read form.

He's trying to make everything over-complicated so it looks like he put lots and lots of effort and it's really good and all that.

Should keep all logging in the log folders. To do otherwise kinda gives the impression you wish to hide stuff. Anyhoo,

Let's just let the NPC-Server wipe everything including the accounts folder, hmmm? I do believe someone can do that from a level npc. You say you wanted to 'secure' your zombified script when you haven't even considered overall server security.

Shameful to think that such a useless tool can get you the highest positions in UC worlds. Doesn't say much for the average playerworld owner / high staff I suppose.

I didn't take over the server, he was fired and used someone elses account to remove the manager and myself, the co manager who fired him in the first place. He banned us for taking over the server (perhaps wondering how anyone could fire the almighty bloo). We owned the server and simply moved to frankies because night wanted us off of his so he could start feudal combat again.

Why do you bother working on a server if you don't expect this stuff to happen?

Sounds to me like this guy should be banned.

One for making useless, abusable scripts, and two for what you just said. xP

Use hell ravens time class and just savelines. Restart the NPC server if you haven't.
