Problem RC [Vista]

Hey I got a problem with rc.
if im at wrong forum please move me
Then i log on a sever with rc it shows like this:



doasent RC work on vista or is it just me?

Edit: RC also crashes then its on the last image

Are you trying to use a custom RC skin at all? Make sure all the image paths are right.

Try turn of graphic when you logon with RC (The button under password etc.), to see if it's anything wrong with the images

yes it works turning off the graphic menu BUT all the icons are gone so its the images probably

I have 2 computers in my house running windows vista and i've not no problems running graphical RC on them. Try and use RemoteControl2_compat.exe and see if it still crashes.

Note: the black box is just to cover the text.

This happend with me on a XP computer. Its not a Vista problem. You have to open RC from your graal folder..

already tryed that ...

Move RemoteControl2.exe to HD://Program Files/Graal/...

(with HD I mean your C or D drive, whatever it is)

This will solve your problem, sorry for the late reply.

That happens to me if I try to open RC from a shortcut rather than the folder it was installed in. Has for a couple of Graalversions now.

Are you sure it's a shortcut and not just a copy of the exe file?

about rc skins,
if u change anything in the txt it will get overwriten then u open RC agien.
so how?
