What To Do With Trials

A few of my ideas mixed with Sayian's. Both of us contributed to this list... Its on the Staff Forums I just think it will be more noticed here. *Note* When it says, "Saving" that means they are allowed to save and have unlimited play (none of this 5 hour bull poop :P)

• 80 HP
• No Tags
• Only can choose certain classes
• Saving
• When there EXP reaches a certain point (3999) they can still get kills and such, but cannot gain EXP, only money.
• Weapons bought in the in game shop cannot be purchased by trials. (Photon, Jetpack, Bluerifle, Redrifle)
• An inability to save there high scores on the statistics board.
• They still have tiny window.
• They cannot use any class that can use appirces.
• They cannot participate in events (unless the ET allows them)

Does anyone agree this might make things better?

No thats the point... Soldier they are allowed to use 3 more weapons.

I like it actually, just could we get rid of Observer mode, because during a Event I was fighting a trial and they dissapeared into observer mode and wasted a few seconds, and we were low on time anyway so the DM had no winner.

And agian, I really like that list but, I feel they should be able to buy some type of rifle but nerf it make a "Grey Rifle", it would only have 15 attack and Red rifle range, it would cost 10k. That way they have some kind of rifle even though it is overpriced and weaker then all the rifles. The GFX would be easy just make it Black and White.

And for the third time, I like the list, if you don't like the "Grey Rifle" idea, just ignore I just wanted to give them something so they can think, I want a BR or RR or even the uber Photon. *Upgrades*

I'll post agian, but remeber alot of are opinions aren't exactly the best ask a Trial which it prefers the old one, or the one you want to implement.

Rofl, Don't go their it may be lame but it has a slow class with it, I think Heavy Infantary has Enhanced Pulsar right? I say let them have 3 Classes, Marine, Heavy Infantary, and Medic.

Marine, Light Infantry and Sapper.

Marine - Lots of balanced guns.
Light Infantry/Sapper - They get a look at a few weapons they could use.

Heavy Infantry and Medic cannot be added in as classes they can pick. Both are unique classes with unique abilities. Someone who doesn't pay for graal shouldn't be allowed to use unique classes.

Also, limiting trials from using Appirces is an amazing idea. Since they have been deemed "the best gun" trials will want to use them more. Also, whats everyones goal when playing a game (usually)? To become the best. Really, you cannot become the best player in Zone if you cannot use Appirces. See my point anyone?

My dream when I came to Zone was to be King of the Pirates. If they limited the options for me in a game I'd get pissed and just quit. I'm not paying for something just to test it out.

Thats because your better then other players. But really, you vs yourself using a faster class but different gun. ApRippers mostly rely on speed of the player.

I suck with apps i have about 100 kills with them and im good... also sapper has plasmasaber... i'd say Marine, Light Infantry, and maybe defender (if trials got plasmasaber theyd be slow)

Don't want to start a argument but, "You can become the best using any weapon, just practice." (I use this line to boost morale with my team on Iricia. xD) But yes, as you stated most of the greatest players use "Appirces", so it is commonly refered to as the best.

Desear please... You should know the odds of a player becoming "Number 1" (In this I mean be able to PK anyone in a 1 on 1 environment) are a LOT higher with Appirces. I agree you can become the top with any weapon, but its a lot easier if your best gun is Appirces.

Before I forget, I probably don't have to ask but are you still making it so Trials can't have Event Weapons? I know they can Save, but you should make it so they can't to give them more reason to upgrade.

I would also like to say about Events you can and should always enable a Combat Knife in my opinion for those who run out of ammo, and as a bonus a Trial can play then, but I understand why you wouldn't for some events, i.e.
r51, goonaider, chaingun, ect.

The whole "no-apps" thing isn't really a good or bad thing. There are other weapons that they can use which get more annoying than apps. Plus most trials don't have a good handle on how to use them strategically.

The Good but could be improved upon a little, how about this:

• Only can choose half of the classes
• Only Weapon that can be bought is Gray Rifle(mentioned Earlier)
• They can participate in events, but once there are only 5 or less people, they get kicked or if there is only one p2p other than the trials.
• They can use classes with appirces, but they have to buy them first, the classes' costs will depend on their stats, like commando will have to be really high cause it's practically the best class

well wedge thought up some good ideas, but having to pay for classes that have apps would be having to pay for alot of classes.

Can't go to Soldier.

Question, is the four hours for trials overall, or per playerworld?
If it's the former... it's not like Graal is any other game, there are so many servers, different from the next, and being able to check them out to see if there's one you could get into with only four hours all month is a bit... limited.
