UDP no longer working?

I've had my UDP happily forwarded for a while and it's been working fine for over 5 months or so but lately i've noticed that I can't see a small amount of people move. So I have to turn my UDP off...

I'm 100% positive it is correctly forwarded and everything. On classic someone else said they have the same problem.

Halp?

What are the benefits of UDP anyways? And what does it do.

You can hear people's microphones and you'll lag a little bit less for other people I think.

I have problems with my RC where if my DMZ is not enabled to my computer the RC will periodically disconnect. It doesn't occur instantly but if I leave it for awhile then go to type something its suddenly checks itself disconnects. I hate this because steam doesn't work properly with DMZ and RC doesn't work properly without it.

I hope you're only setting up the DMZ for RC and possibly a web server
