Generally people who have played a game before know what an FAQ is.
Generally, they go and look for one first thing, but since the machines give no information, I think FAQ is a good idea also.

Way off topic, But are you telling me FAQ will be a "Test"? I like that, It would show who is qualified and who is not. As an ET, You must know Zone's background, As well as Current Zone News, And above all, Know the Zone Battle/Weapon System, And Rules of Game Play. And on a more heavy note, Be tested in dependence and trust.

-Poopers job is to answer questions, this really takes a load off ET's back to they can focus on more important matters (hackers, their events, ect)
-I feel that Pooper would make a fine ET, I just think he needs some experience dealing with Zones immaturity, thus, I feel that FAQ is a good way to show how he reacts to different things

I say, FAQ should be The Pre-ET Stage, Here the Semi-Staff(Meaning they could be declined still) would learn basic Staff Guidlines, And Responsibilities.

Learned Skills:
-Communicating with Players on a Staff to Player basis, Instead of a Player to Player.
-Apply Zone Knowledge to Mental Tests.(Answer Questions/Show knowledge of Rules of Play)
-Learn how to control themselves under Pressure, And the onslaught of *Rascals
-Responsiability(Literally)


*Rascals-I mean the people who harrass others, Or constantly critize the Staffs actions.

These kinds of things. I think my centeral Message it would best train them for the "Staff Postition", As in being a Staff. Although, They would still have to learn how to "Host" on their own if they made "ET".

Ok, you guys really think you know what my intentions are? Well, no. You don't.

First of all, just because Supernanny has been here on Zone for around 2 years less than you guys, doesn't make him less worthy of the FAQ position. There is only so much you can learn about 1 thing. When I hired him I knew there were people out there with a deeper knowledge of Zone, but most of them have attitude problems or are too immature. Supernanny showed me some PM history of him answering people's questions and I found that he was very polite, kind and helpful to them. If I hired someone else who had a deeper knowledge of Zone but had attitude problems, they would not get along with the players very well.

Also, for ages I was asked "How many staff hirings are open?". I said I didn't know at the time. But I did know. There were 2. 1 of them has been taken up by Supernanny, and this is a test in many ways. It is a test for Supernanny to see how he can handle the new position, and a test to see how others would react to it. If they started getting all jealous or insulting the staff then I would know the position is not for them (E.G. John), but if they showed good intentions towards Supernanny then I would know they could do well as an FAQ themselves (E.G. Jo, Anubis).

It's quite disgusting to see how some of you lack faith in me and my decisions and how some of you (Sayian) take jabs at Supernanny for no apparent reason. Supernanny has helped further my decision in making him staff because I have seen how he handles you lot when you start throwing tantrums. I hired him not just because he has played Zone for a long time, but because he is the nicest person I have ever met on Zone and he has rarely, if not never, gotten mad at anyone around him. That, along with some knowledge of Zone, is the key factor into becoming staff. As it shows us that the individual will be kind to confused players and will ignore abusive ones.

Hmm, i think he complimented me and you, Anubis. Thanks! I think your decision was without a doubt a great decision, no one trys to help zone more than Supernanny, though i have to disagree about him having more manners than anyone, i believe that Desear is more polite, im sure in the past ive seen SN get a bit mad, where as Desear i don't think he has.

Well, not only is pooper one of the most knowlegable people on zone itself, he knows his way around the forums back and forth. He told me he has read nearly EVERY thread made, now thats an acomplishment, and hele undoubtably know a lot more that most players. Infact he does, he actually corrected something i said the other day, getting me majorly frustrated, but he was right.. I don't remember what it was i think it was something to do with staff hiring, im not sure.

Well i've always had faith in Supernanny and it's nice to see how many other people support him .. Sept John.

actually my account was once unsecure. I contacted unixmad and that was fixed up quite quickly. I was actually unbanned by vulcan. Yes I know you laugh.

for those who commented on me losing my temper: I think I have it more under control now. Im sure almost all of us have our moments.

As soon as I saw that I laughed. Notice in all my pms I say zone related? Thats not zone related yet. When it is maybe Ill think about it.

1. I can only recall you being on one time when I was hosting something, so I doubt you can give me examples of "constant abusing."

No, even if you'd not said that, I'd have to send a similar post out there sometime. I really am tired of people going "OMG COR UR ABUZER" (or used to be, heh), for literally no other reason than that I pissed them off. Jo does it, John used to do it, and IXI used to ***** about it too. I could go on.

(Note: /kick'ing someone when he/she is not on a map or doing something important just to have fun isn't abuse. Putting stupid crap in globals is. Kicking someone from an event because they didn't follow the rules isn't abuse, either, but kicking someone from an event because you don't want them to win is.)
