Buying server currency

If i owned a server and wanted to create a website that allows people to order ingame currency using real money, would i be allowed to do this?

Are there any specific rules saying i cant?

Because USDing is usually handled by the server management.

The rule of common sense says no.

I don't think they've had a big enough problem to add it to the EULA, or whatever supreme-constitution they use around here.

When did he ever say this was going to be his main source of income? When did he say he was depending on this money? And yes, I guarantee you, if the server is good enough, people will buy it. You're a superstar.

Because I've seen Tom try and make easy money all the time from all these stupid projects, and they never go anywhere.

I've made over 3,500 USDing various in-game currency/accounts over the last year. Just pocket change in addition to the income of 2 jobs.

I'm not sure why you're so ego-inflated over starting your "own business". Anyone can "start their own business". In your case, when you dress and act like such a cool brah (judging from your pics, DuDe) , you're going to have to start your own business....nobody else would hire you.

On some level, you have to admit that this would be funny to observe, though not participate in such actions.

On one hand, Graal Staff reserve the right to terminate your access at any time, without warning.
On the other, the user agreement everybody consents to before playing prevents players from the compelling funds from Cyberjouyers for any fraud or errors that would occur from somebody doing this.
This is even more evident in that, where minors are concerned, to have an upgraded account or partake in transactions of this type, a parent or legal guardian would be presumed to have endorsed the funds necessary to engage in this, whereby tossing the "minors can't enter into contracts" dispute out the window (since the actual transaction is a contract with an adult).

Nevertheless, don't count on this being allowed, and, I wouldn't advise attempting this for a wide variety of other reasons anyway.

I was actually thinking about this same idea, but that's a question for unixmad. As of right now, I don't think there's anything illegal about it, but Cyberjoueurs may have a different view.

While not specifically stated in the rules, nearly any attempt to make money off Graal without Unixmad getting a cut will get you in trouble. Last check he's STILL in debt from when Graal was a free server eatin' up the bandwidth, so he takes a necessarily dim view of people standing on his proverbial shoulders.

That said, there was talk of doing such a thing officially. When that happens I'm sure it'll be allowed. For that matter, one could hypothetically make the system and share it with Stefan and Unixmad, though sadly the best way to get their attention is still to break a rule (ie by USDing)...
