Go for something that you can actually look at, for example a desk or something small. Work on your shading techniques with these objects, then go for more shapely objects and develop your line art.

Then merge the two together and make a masterpiece =D

It's not that bad.... It's good but the golden blade doesn't look good with a katana. Thy playing with the handle or making the blade silver. also try to thin the blade out it's a bit thik compared to the handle...
