Msvcr80.dll

I know that many people make threads about this but this one is really strange.

I very recently installed a fresh copy of Graal since my old folder had too many files in it. When I try to take a screenshot on this fresh copy of Graal I get a popup with the MSVCR80.DLL error...

Surprised, I went to my old backup folder and I didn't get this error.

I don't have Windows Defender and as I just stated, taking screenshots works fine on the backed up Graal folder...but not the new folder. Help :[

I think it is checking if the file has been installed after the buggy libraries, and uses the buggy libraries if it's newer.

What should I do?

Graal runs nice and fast now thanks to the fresh folder and the nvidia driver fix. Shame this error had to start. =[

I ran a search on my computer and found the file in my Microsoft Office 2007 files.

On my system, it said another application is using it, which I'm guessing would be Office 2007. Either uninstall Office 2007 or try to find some way of replacing it it, even if it's in use. (I've been meaning to kill it with Dr. Delete, but haven't tried it yet.)

Stefan, any idea as to whether or not this may be worked around in the next executable update?

I don't have office 2007. I have office 2003 though, but like I said the old backup folder (old as in last week) works fine. Just took a screenshot for that wizard thread too.

It's this new installation that's bad.

Regardless of how you look at it, Graal does need to be able to bypass this check in the future or work in accordance with the .dll.

Fixed it by downloading the .dll from the link and placing it in my new Graal folder.

Awesome.

In such cases it is probably also enough to copy those dlls from the program which installed them
