I've not said anything about Global RC. I'd just like to see an official group made devoted to officially-ordered sprite work. (I.E. one that is kept in contact with and sprites for higher administration to work on newer essential projects, rather than having to jump from server to server and worry about whether or not our work has been distributed without permission.)

I already make graphics for random servers 0_o Well when they ask me, but it would rock to get a special tag , like a little reward for doing it.

Yes I agree too, Tom does make a lot of graphics for different servers doesn't he.

I think the psychology (in players) for having a Global Graphics Team is basically some encouragement and perhaps a nice goal for people to set themselves too. Good graphic artists on Graal is becoming a rare thing, especially those who work for good reasons, infact I'd say there were about 3. Having a team like this isn't to make people feel important, I'd say more so appreciated then anything else.

Also, another thing I'd like to see is global head uploading, sure we have over a thousand heads, but half of them don't work, then cut out the ugly ones and you're left with a pretty dull selection.

I think this is absolutely necessary if there is any hope, whatsoever, in saving GK and Zone. Having people to work on graphics for GK would do it absolute wonders.

I really wouldn't consider Zone and GK (gold servers) playerworlds. I think the reasoning behind this is to get a team that is graphically inclined to assist playerworlds in making graphics.

Now what I don't get, is why any global power should be given to them. Why can't people with all this free time just wander around on different playerworlds and offer their assistance, without doing the job of the PWA (removing stolen content specifically), having a global RC, or even a tag.

Tag I can deal with, but in the past, the GGT (and GST) have over stepped their boundaries, meddling in PWA affairs that they have no right to be involved in. Using their global RC and tag as some sort of Police badge or something.

I have not quoted him. I'm not replying directly to him. What is your point? That is one person, not even a part of the team.

Then GGT should simply be a creative team, making things. As soon as you give them the responsibility/power to do what the PWA can already handle, it could become an excuse when motivation runs low to not create graphics.

I know the last GGT continually maintained the fact they were actually there to stop stolen graphics (or deal with it) when they didn't want to make graphics (which was fine, as it was their job essentially).

But the only way I see the GGT being active is in a creative role. This also reduces confusion for players. If they have a playerworld issue, no matter what it is, they should know to go to the Playerworld Administration Team. It's their job after all. Once we start creating sub-divisions it creates complications, and the GGT would only be annoyed (as the last team was sometimes, and understandably) when PWA handled such issues or players just went to the PWA.

I think a team to CREATE graphics is a good idea, but a team to do what the PWA can already do and has the time to do is pointless.

Reward the graphically talented for something they do, don't reward them with a separate responsibility/job.

Just because "Terrain Playerworlds" is the wave of the future is NO reason to turn your back, let alone the official administrative back of Graal Online as a company, on its roots!

ACK!
That's what killed the GGT in the first place!
They got roped into doing nothing but new graphics for Kingdoms until they all quit!

...that's not english.

"We need to cut support for Graal's roots. We need to focus on terrain, not baddies. If we let Graal Online alone, it will go under." Please explain to me how you've just said anything But "Classic should die and I'm looking forward to it."

Let alone what "Terrain will be like Classic now :o" is supposed to mean in ANY language. By all means, take your pick: It can be read "All terrain will mirror Classic's terrain, which is to say 'Flat'," or "All terrain will go the way of Classic, which is to say Obsolete before the might of Graal3D", or "Classic will be remade with terrain like Kingdoms", although that would be reading x=3 as an evaluation rather than a value-setting command...

Different time, different people. GK is nowhere near as active as it was back then, it would take a fraction of the work to upkeep its graphics. Just give it something to keep it interesting during its death throws.
