Anyone here...

Anyone here wanna help me with a Playerworld?

I've not been here for a while so there may be some new people. All I'm going to release to the public for right now is that it will have gameplay and storyline stylings similar to what Graal was before Graal 2001 came out. Many of you may not remember it, so I'll reference games like Zelda: A Link to the
Past, and Zelda for NES for roots-style gameplay.

I'm good on funding, and can get space, I just need someone willing and able to help script all of the things I need scripted. Many of them are not even complex, it's just that my talents lie more in level-editing and that is what I would like to have to focus on instead of all of it.

So if anyone is relatively good at scripting and would like to see a good "classic" playerworld fulfill its development, let me know and I can give you more details.

Because that obviously hasn't been done a million times.

No offense, but I can guarantee quality with every project I do.

And you say "because that hasn't been done a million times," but I can guarantee should you have the chance to go back and play a Zelda game, you probably would, regardless of the time it took to complete it. Why? Simply because of gameplay.

Many of the playerworlds here focus on developing an economy to guarantee players playing for a long time. I am simply focusing mainly on elements that can be completed single player instead of focusing on relentless and useless economic upbringings in a video game. Sure, it's nice to have a currency in a server, but that shouldn't be the only thing.

For example, those of us lucky ones that had the chance to play Graal 2001 from the beginning will notice this about its downfall. The concept started out nicely, but was very under developed to support player interest once the few quests had been completed. Where did the focus of development go from there? Well, there was perhaps a moon added and a new fish quest, and...that was about it. The rest of the time, all you had to do there was bull**** jobs for bull**** money.

With all that said very vaguely, I'll leave you with one thought as to why I think my world would succeed should I have the things I need for it scripted.

A player's interest in a playerworld is only as deep as the depth of the playerworld. Basically, once they scratch the surface, they are going to keep digging.

Playerworlds now can't compare to what Graal gameplay was pre-2000.

When I say "A Zelda Game" I don't think you understand what I really mean. I am referring to the aspects of the gameplay that make it an ADVENTURE. Which would be what "Graal: The Adventure" should have been about. Not ****ing gralats or rupees, but the ADVENTURE.

Look at it this way. Should my world get created the way I have written everything up, you are in for an adventure.

Technically, I'm not "back."

It's just that Nostalgia has gotten me back into wanting to carry out my playerworld development, especially since I got far into the storyline and it actually interested me (I ****ing hate reading).

The only reason I would play graal is to develop. And yeah, what do you do exactly? Levels, if I remember correctly. You're welcome to help with anything, however. I know you're looking for the same type of gameplay as me.

I wonder if you are thinking of someone else, or you really do remember that far back when I tried to do levels.

I script

Yeah, I do remember you doing levels for a little bit. How well can you script with gs2?

Sup toran...

I think you'll be in for a surprise with my g2k1 revision. Sure it's going to have an economy but it's gonna have more quests than you can handle.

Is the G2K1 revision going to be on the classic list, or gold?

You are more than welcome to throw together two exterior levels with whatever theme you have in mind and they will be implemented into the overworld with the specifications upon your request. It doesn't matter to me.
