2x trees

Well, im working for trees that will be used on Mythic in an area named "Dead Forest", and heres what Ive come up with so far. Comments?

A simple fix would be to shorten the trunk.

I dunno why I'm not a graphics guy but that dead trunk is awful. It just looks disproportionate and odd.

Not only this but the roots should go from being thick to thin, not thin to thin...just weird.

I think the tree is heavy on the left side. Maybe add something on the right for visual balance ? Possibly a limb on the lower right.

I believe they're called weeping willows - they usually lean to one side.

Yeah, like everybody else has said, trunk needs to be shorter for it to appear to be in perspective. Nice work nonetheless.

Trees can be any shape, size, proportion... long as you shade it right. Should be a simple task. There is no correct way to make a tree, as long as you shade it right. :/
Yeah, common sense will tell you that branches and roots get smaller as they extent from the trunk. That's a given.

Looks fine in my opinion.
