Scrolltobottom Gui question

How can I get this to work, I have it in a timeout currently

PMG_Text_ @ thiso.ircChat.scrolltobottom();

I've tried a few things with no sucess so any thoughts from the Graal Scripting Community?

What are you trying to do? What are PMG_Text_ and thiso.ircChat?

PMG_Text is a GuiMLText line and thiso.ircChat is the name of whatever IRC Server the player has joined, and I want it to scroll to the bottom everytime the player sends a msg or something, I know it's not the best to put it in a timeout but I'm going to change when I figure out how it works

The weapon is basically like Kuji IRC except I modified it. I replaced GIRC with PMG. I just want the text box to scroll to the bottom everytime something gets added to it.

If your question is where is the best place to put your .scrollToBottom(), then why not just put it in the event where the text is being received?

In this case, at the end of function onAddMsg()?

It's trying to get the text box to scroll down to the bottom, also my Gui programming isnt top notch either so that might be it too

But it doesn't make any sense.

If you want to scroll PMG_Text_foo, you must do this:

(@ "PMG_Text_" @ thiso.ircChat).scrollToBottom(); 


If you're not trying to do that, I've got no idea what you're trying to do, because "PMG_Text_ @ thiso.ircChat" will confuse the engine and certainly won't behave how you think.
