House Light Upgrade?

I walked into my house on Graal today, stopped, and asked myself..."Damn these lights are short lived..."

Therefore, I was wondering...

Why not make a torch...that doesn't go out? Perfect for shops and such in my opinion, as the buyers can see whats on the tables, and not run around aimlessly without the ability to see whats sitting on the tables.

Why I'm suggesting this...?

A.) As is, when the lights go out, it is nearly impossible to see whats on the ground of ones house.
B.) The time for the torches flame to stay on is WAY too short...a real one would burn for hours and hours, not for 2 minutes, or what ever its set to.

If this doesn't fit in for Graal Kingdoms current development plan, then why not...

A.) Increase the time that the torch burns?
B.) Make the unlit homes brighter? They have windows after-all.

Theres my suggestion, enjoy commenting and what not upon it.

I fully agree. I would recommend a 6 hour period for the simple wooden torches, and 24 hours for the stone torches. Also, if you stand around inside your house, the torches will last for quite awhile, but they tend to burn out the moment you walk out the door unless you're lucky. (I haven't experimented around enough to know exactly how they do it.)

I would also like this idea since I'm setting up the roadside shrines in Zormite to increase the RP atmosphere. The shrines use designs in the carpet and the careful placement of furniture to create a visually pleasing, shrine-themed look. However if the visitor can barely see the inside, it becomes a little bit difficult to appreciate it.

Make craftable oil lamps that you can craft which burn permanently. However, they should have rarer ingredients, such as potion of sunfire or something when you craft them.

I think its a great idea and maybe if you use the lamp in you hand it will shine out more than the torch so you can see more in a dark place. What brings up an idea what if you can use a torch in the place of a shield so if your in a map or some place dark you can see more and still use your weapon at the same time.
