Ever been decorating your house and got to the bit where you put pictures on your wall but looking at them closly you think 'i could make a better picture'. ?We should have a thing where you can have a special folder and self-upload the picture and overwrite it over your current picture you marked.
You could make patterns to match your carpet, have text and if you are really skilled at drawing with a few pixels like I can you can draw things such as small ships on water, maybe even a graalian. I think it would be nice to have a touch of individuality on your walls instead of artwork someone else did. Maybe even have frames in different sizes for diferent art sizes. big enough to even upload a shortened screenshot?

There is. It's called the graal\levels\images\downloads\ folder.

But you cannot upload it onto Gk unless you are a staff member.

You don't necessarily need to upload it to GK to view it. You can just overwrite a current picture. But only you will be able to see the rendered picture.

I like the idea, but then we could get into the debate on "what if people uploaded copyrighted material or some inappropriate images?"

And the answer can't be to have someone review the uploads, because there is rarely any staff on as it is.

Graal can upload pictures but currently it's only allowed for RC, can may be add something to allow uploading of pictures for the house.

It would probably be better to create a folder for each house, so once the house is gone... The folder could be auto deleted after so long to keep room on the servers instead of filling up your harddrive space. Just need to get some kind of interface is all then to a custom image for something.

Nah, I don't think its really a good idea, you never know when someones going to try and pull a fast one with that option...plus I believe that would open a few security holes if I'm not mistaken. ( History regarding past free online games teaches us that allowing players to upload stuff, although moderated, can be a hazardous thing to do. )

It might be a good idea to stick with RCs only regarding uploads.
