In all fairness, I haven't seen Maji's levels. He could be an amazing level maker I suppose. But I've seen Debil's. And...no.

Recently another island other than Kaljun began the process of decoration with all sorts of kickass details, so I thought I'd throw in some stuff.

Keep in mind that the basic idea for each island is to have a different graphical style in each one. These island screenshots are from Abiline, and co-star two fellow staff members kc and Chance because they found it fun to warp to me constantly while I ran around the "soon to be enlarged horizontally soon due to lack of space for all the stuff" GMap looking for some of the detailed areas that were the closest to looking done (at least in my opinion anyway).

^ Northern part of Abiline Square in the "City above the Treetops"

^ Rest bench on the edge of Drakken Pond in the Midwest of Abiline

^ On the edge of the western marshes of Abiline, where there's cooler stuff than cat tails and algae...

Abiline will also feature light pixie NPCs as well as animals like squirrels and birds and maybe deer that will act as random animals in the forest. Abiline will also feature an inside forest aside from its forest town (which exists above the treeline as you can tell from the first screenshot)

EDIT - btw guys these will be the last screenshots I post for this thread for a while now. I personally feel that I've shown yall much more than is necessary to inspire you to want to come work for us.

I can see where you would think that as you have only seen some of the first levels Debil created. However, I believe if you saw Abiline in its entirety you would be quite impressed with his style. After being a level maker for only two weeks he's managed to impress me more than most LATs I have seen, and has created quite a large amount of eye-candy on the Dev server.

They seemed to have fired me before I ever managed to get rights to finish on my town that was yet massive but unfinished.

Still wish them the best of luck though. Seems like you all are thinking right but hopefully you be working right...if ya know what I mean.

Personally I'm pissed that they fired you. I spent a while trying to find you online so I could talk you into coming back, and finally Crono tells me that he can talk to you himself, magically you come back, and then I log on RC to find out you were fired. I really don't think that whoever fired you knows how extremely tallented you are with levels, and how fast you can pump out amazing looking levels. Sorry **** had to go how it did.

btw:

Mining system == done.

I wanted to post screenshots of it but then I remembered what I said about stopping :-(. Doesn't mean I can't tell you guys about it though:

It features its own levelling EXP system, graphics, and doodads galore (as I'm sure you can expect after seeing all of the pics in this thread), several selections of pickaxes which deal different amounts of damage, thirteen (13) different minerals, and up next on my list of things to do is the smithing system where you can take minerals (among other things) and create ingredients for other stuff that can sell for higher prices in stores.

So anyway, I'm looking to enlist the services of some people for the purposes of making puzzles for an arcade game. Everything is done, except there appears to be a distinct lack in brainpower required to solve the current two or three puzzles.

The fact is, the overworld looks amazing. I've seen many overworlds and this is one of the best I've seen. The city is well formed and well-organized. There is a small group of very dedicated staff that are working on the server non-stop.

We are always looking for more.

Actually, they split the OW into different islands that will be released at different times. The first island, Kal'jun, is near completion, level-wise. The second island is also well over 50% done.

(there's a third island too that is 100% done level-wise but nobody has really touched on it for anything else... personally I think its the most beautiful^100 one because I LOVE SNOW... but that's just me)

I already said that the islands are their own GMaps anyway in the original post.

Lone Island is supposed to be completely redone, unless they decided that they're going to use what was done with it, but I'm pretty sure Tiamat was 100% unhappy with it. I'd say its about 4% done, being that the outline is the only thing done on it.

Overall level progress isn't that bad though, the 2 BIG islands are Kaljun (which is about 70% done) and the Tahan/Barion, which Tiamat is working on now, I'm not sure what the current status of it is yet. There are 4 more Islands, one of which is Abiline which is about 80% or more done, Al Jadim, which pretty much has nothing but an outline done, Lone which I've already stated its progress, and the Events Island that is 50% done from what I hear (I haven't seen anything from it yet).

Also, Inferno, how would you know how our progress is going? Last time you worked for us you didn't have access to the server to see how our progress was going, nor did you have any RC rights, and the time before that was when we were working on a completely different project.

What's up guys? I'm looking for a few translators.

We're starting to get a considerable amount of chat text and one of the ideas that has been floating around has been to get the server in multiple languages.

I myself can comprehend a few, but I'm looking for people who are fluent in either German, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, or Spanish and are willing to help be a translator (if you're actually from the country then awesome). I have already enlisted the help of a French translator and he's doing an awesome job so far (<3).

I can't guarantee that you'll be given access to the dev server at first or whatever, much less an RC -- however if you do a good job and if I can show the other staff that you've done quite a bit of work in translating stuff I'm sure they'll be willing to work something out for you. No guarantees, though. (although I -can- guarantee you a few toys in the server that I've made on the side for when the server is released or whenever you have access... whichever comes first)

I also intend on having some kind of recognition NPC that shows your name/nick/account/whatever_you_want when they want to change their game's server language.

As for your ability to speak English... if you can comprehend this post then you qualify as far as I'm concerned.

I have the Server Manager (Riot) agreeing to setup the NPCServer to detect the Game Client language and use that as the basis for what to translate as -- its my understanding that it is also how GK does their translations. From there is just fill in the blank with the langauge translation.
