For fun i have made up 3 ideas for new war npcs and such,

IDEA (1)

Before you instantly say "Hell No" i just like to say.
Graal 3D is set around same time period as Gk with it's swords and bomys roaming and so on,
Why not have what they have... 1 seater Wooden Planes.

(Abilities) Can Attack players and ships, If you have arrows out, it fires them straight ahead, if your low enough it can hit players but does not damage ships, however if you put away arrows and equip cannonballs your plane drops them and they explode on contact with the water and land, this damages ships but does not hurt players.

The reason for arrows is mainly for air to air combat, they are fast and dogfighting will be availible, of course you have to MAINTAIN YOUR PLANE to keep it in service, to do so drag and drop coal onto it, You have a fuel gauge and if it runs out of fuel your plane cannot fly, and you have to drive it home, very slowly.
PLANES CAN BE STORED IN HOUSES
Also planes are Stealable so its a good idea to have a house

These aviatious vehicles are quite a job to make, since it requires nails and wood not many players can be bothered to gather those,
Which makes ferry and ships still popular.
however they are great for battling ships but be careful, 1 or 2 successful cannonball hits destroy your plane, Planes recover hp over time very slowly, so it is best to make a specific house to store more planes so you always have a plane ready for battle.

IDEA (2)
This is simple, make an exit cargo hold button in ships, there you can get your planes and zepplins out of the ship, and use your ship as a type of aircraft carrier, of course you have to be on a light blue area of water, this is great for surprise attacks, Also it would be really fun having a ship full of friends and you help them take off into the heat of battle.

IDEA (3) Fire / ice /poison/arrows.
These arrows are really powerful and can even hurt ever so slightly,
But their main existence is for increased damage for attacking monsters and have various other effects as their name intails,

BUT!!! when flying a plane you can replace your normal arrows for fire/ice/poison arrows for increased damage!

they made in normal wood crafting shops like all other arrows,

Ingredients needed:
15 Ice Arrows: 15 wooden arrows +Large Mana Crystal + 1sapphire
15 Fire Arrows: 15 wooden arrows +Large Mana Crystal + 1 ruby
15 poison arrows: 15 woden arrows +Large Mana Crystal + 1 Emerald

With these things everyone can get involved in wars,

people can help destroy planes,

Planes can help sink ships or poison the swordsmen to help the more experienced swordsmen,
Players can scout around flying to keep on the lookout for intruders on their island

And have vehicles they must maintain.

Imagine what events you could host with planes involved??

Imagine the battles you could remake?

haha you could remake pearl harbour if you wished,

A Plane will never work it will not fix in with the time of GK.

Maybe you can do like a medievil aircraft carrier but instead use the zeplins as the assault planes.

Zepplins wpuldn't work, they too slow.

planes won't really ruin it at all.
it would work.

How can you make this game any more unrealistic??
cmon you got mushrooms that walk around and attack people.
and on event island you have the sun which hovers about 15 ft off the ground.
And you have T-rexes that live underground in the dungeon, the least likely place to catch a good meal, i don't think rexes are keen on eating rats are they?

Wooden craftable planes is pretty sane if you ask me compared to all that.

but i think we've ditched realism long ago, I think planes would work,

i'd even get the gfx for them.

that'll solve it.

it gives you something to look after, and gives the weaker players a chance to impact war, the kingdoms website says you can participate in kingdom battles, but not by much, only way u can is ship battling, if your fairly poor, and not many people can do that well as i have seen

Actually we probably could do the planes. The game is unrealistic as is already.

Why does everyone worry that these things ruin the medevil effects and such,
Graal Kingdoms is not Medevil no matter what anyone says,

The story was set by alien bomys crashing and taking form of earth pl;ants such as mushrooms.

Where is the old medevil element in that?
To be honest I don't care if it fits into Rp or not,
As long as its fun it should be made,
Afterall its fun we play here for, not stories.
If you want stories, go to a library son

I think it would be very fun,

i'm getting past the excitment of ship battling.
Not many people ship battle yet its the only skill element in war.
Melee is not a skill element, its a matter of who spent the most usd for their items or who spent all their hours diamond hunting.
Thats not fun. and graal needs to be fun to have my yearly acct upgraded

So your saying it wouldn't be fun being able to look after your own plane? pull it out of your house and take to the skies battling all over your island destroying enemy planes and ships at high speed?

GK has nothing to do with the time period of real life. people play this game because it is nothing like real life. GK has it's own time period.

How long has gk been around? Just because the game started off in a midievil time period. Who is to say that the worl of kingdoms could not evolve? We sure did evolve fast. Say 10 years ago there was nothing released to the general public that could compare to the power of stuff we have today.

Let gk evolve, not just be the same old same old.

I like this idea of airplanes, This would also be a good idea for events. A dogfight event. =P

You don't really want a plane. What you really want is a combat air vehicle. So what you should be asking for is changes made to Zeppelins.

Pearl Harbor wasn't funny. Thats the dumbest event idea I've ever heard, and it really pisses me off.

How about OMG LETS REMAKE THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN LOL. Or why not have a Holocaust event and see who can kill the most innocent civilians? Its great that you are suggesting lots of new things and trying to get GK changed, but thats just ridiculous.

Don't get all offended. He didn't mean to offend you. He just wrote one of famous plane vs boat battles.

You really shouldn't get upset about pearl harbour anyways.
So what you lost a ship?
The men on the ship is more important than a ship.
Anyways the germans didn't win so smile.

We lost a lot more than just a ship during pearl harbor. Thousands of sailors, soldiers, nurses, and plenty of innocents lost their lives. And it wasn't the Germans that attacked pearl harbor, it was the Japanese. And no, I'm not going to smile.

I agree that it doesn't have have to be a plane.
So, to keep the "fantasy style" why not make flying animals, like
huge eagles or something which you can ride on? instead of a fuel bar and
having to put coal into a plane you have to feed it... and for combat
you can use bows on it or even spells

The germans attacked in battle of britain.i was not talking about pearl harbour.
Anyways its war, what do you expect? course there will be casualties there always is in wars.
