New GraalShop.exe released

May be some of you have already notice that yesterday a new GraalShop.exe version has been released (1.1). Download the v4 Developer package to get it.

Updates:
- ATTACHSPRITE2 is supported now - it is attaching a sprite below another one, this only works in v4
- the startup is faster (uses FILENAMECACHE.txt if its existing)
- EFFECTMODE, ROTATEEFFECT, STRETCHXEFFECT and STRETCHYEFFECT are not deleted anymore (you still don't see them though)

That's very cool. Having a way to save custom body templates would be cool (Like in the editor, the castle pre-fixes etc).

Just an idea for the next update, maybe adding a "Are you sure? Yes - No" box, when you click certain things, for example, "Remove Unused Sprite Definitions".
When adding a new sprite, you can sometimes accidently click the other one, as they are right by each other.

Just an idea from what people have said about the graalshop ^_^

When I try to open Gani Shop, it says:
DirectSound cannot be initialized!

Could that be because I have no speakers hooked up?

Try (re)starting the Windows Audio service (start>run>services.msc)

There are no such thing as speaker drivers

No, something happened to my sound card when I got a new hard drive.. Besides, I find having sound irrelivant to doing ganis, therefor this should be fixed.

Ok fixed the Developer package download, uploaded it with wrong filename, should be ok now.

blonkt:
EFFECTMODE spritenumber 0-2
ROTATEEFFECT spritenumber angle (default 0)
STRETCHXEFFECT spritenumber stretchfactor (default 1)
STRETCHYEFFECT spritenumber stretchfactor (default 1)
ATTACHSPRITE2 spritenumber spritenumber deltax deltay

Update:
Evil, got the same sound problem, doesn't fully load when there is no sound, will fix this on Monday.

Update2:
Released a new version, should work now even if there is no sound.

Well having the Graal Shop updated is great but there's a lot of folks out there still having trouble how to gani.
All my friends always coming to me for training.
Can you make it easier for them Mr.Knor?
Like for example the image parts
Instead of us typing the coordinates of the image x y w l
how about you can make something that allow us to view the image and make a rectangular box around the image and set it as one of the sprites.
Wouldnt that be nice eh?

Heh, Damon the easiest way to gani I use is how just using the "select" tool I don't need some box but it would be simpler

anyhow if you don't understand what I mean I attached a example.

some newbs dont want to do that so Im just saying it would be easier for them.
And plus I always use the select tool.

I think its a good idea to do a drag & drop feature for Graalshop...where you just load the image and you can select the pieces of the images you want and drop them in the animation box. Kinda similiar to GraalEditor if you know what I mean.

kk im able to get on to the graal shop and get the files but i cant see the little body parts and wepons it shows that their there but not see able...????
