Well, I am posting an older screenshot of the same level that I remade from my home server.

...Then the remade one.

The house on the right on the new screenshot VIncent Valentine made for me a while ago, I'm still learning how to make cool houses. They're a huge pain in the bum. =[

I might post more re-make type levels in this thread if I want to reveal more. >=]

I wanted your opinions. =]

Roads = good!

Houses = ok. I don't like the red one.

Detail = a bit overdone but I like the style. Reminds me of my own a bit.

Overall a decent town level. 6/10

You took away way to much from the orignal one :X So, they don't look the same. Still it's a good level aside from the tile errors in the hedge fence around the house (turning parts), detailing a little over done and the houses are not so perty :o

Paths are brilliant though.

Minus 10 points for working on UN.

For the level, I dislike it. Why would they have laid down a stone path in such a random design? I get it with sand paths, but with stone, it shouldn't happen. Houses look average, and there is some tiling that I just don't get. I give the level a -15/10.

1) It's way over-detailed.
2) The roads are too twisted, what's wrong with straight ones?
3) The blue house is extremely messed up.

I prefer the original.

Well, it's a noble effort. The roads are irrational (why would people go to all the trouble of making curvy roads like that?), the houses are too compact, and there are some tile errors.

I give this level a D grade.

I think he went a little overboard, but maybe he doesnt want every road to look the same? Just to be easy on the eyes or something.

If you get a road that's good and efficient, you're going to try to replicate it's success. If the lack of variety is not aesthetically appealing, then simply distract from the road with something outstanding.

I was planning to make another town with straight roads. Making every town the same.. well, thats stupid.

That level is alright besides the houses, good job eagle and i will grade as soon as you eagle up them houses :P.

First of all.

The road is horrible.. the house on the left isn't the best at all either.

I do like the house on the right though.

I disagree completely. I think the red house is kind of crappy, while the blue one is okay. =[

The first level was an old level from about 98' or 99 that I sort of remade in the second one.
