So basically you want us to stip down Kingdoms until we have only a few left so that we can make room for new Kingdoms (rp guilds give me a break... eventually they will want their own castle, etc, it won't solve anything we will only be going in circles)
Here is what we should do...
sure, remove some of the lesser kingdoms, we need to stick with basics, we can build from there.
The thing about Kingdoms is the variety. We have Zormites, which build their castles and farm underwater, they are a fish people similar to the Romans in society makeup.
Dustari, we make our home in the desert using advanced irrigation to our advantage, think of us as a middle ages style society only in a desert landscape, with some egyptian influence.
Samurai, think Feudal Japan, martial arts, etc. Farmers and fisherman.
Pirate Crew, your standard Pirate ship, plundering sea thieves. Their Captain is a ghost which adds a neat twist.
Celt, think druids and people of the land in a harsh ice terrain. They also appear to have some Norse influences.
Kalaron, well... if it sticks around, it's a woodland society, magical elves, etc. Their castle is located within a huge towering tree.
We have a pretty nice variety right there alone. Maybe one or two could go but for something to replace it, it would need to be superior idea in every aspect.
I don't care about newcomers trying to struggle making their own guild or whatever. Who cares! This is about quality control, someone can't just come along and start up their own thing. Well they can, but why should we give them an advantage if it's just the same old cliche guild stereotypes recycling over and over. We should strive for something more than that
Basically what you call RP Guild... I think what you mean is what we at the RPC like to call mini-kingdoms (for lack of a better term, or maybe just too lazy to think up a better one)
Pirate Crew is a mini-kingdom. They don't have much, they just have their little ship, that is all they want and that is all they need. They don't have huge elaborate castles or towns like some of the other Kingdoms may eventually have.
Anyway a real solution has yet to really present itself... basically I think we just need to cut off the creation of new Kingdoms for now until we can sort things out. Because new Kingdoms keep being added faster than we can adapt, plus there are so many the players are so spread out that it's hard for each Kingdom to get more than a handful of members online at a time (which makes it hard to do events, etc)
