usd buying item solution

i was just reading an earlier post about someone getting annoyed at players buying items.

well i have a solution to that problem.

Make more decent items! 90% of graal's good items is rare or 1 of a kind practically.

release more items and then people will see it's pointless to waste such money on rare items when a common item that is earned by playing and with a few less stats is out there, somewhere,

That's silly though. People should have to work for their items - I'm not saying LITERALLY WORK and USD, but no just hand them out - that's not the solution at all.

Just make some improvements, add some new craftable items.

no body uses craftable items, because they have no stats...

The staff could easily make USDing far more difficult by punishing people for trying to sell items over AIM and other IM programs and the like. However, the staff don't actually care about USDing, just about freeing Graal Online from liability connected to USDing.

Completely correctly! If this attitude will changed, be sure the administration will find a way to prevent it.

I'm not an administrator of GK, but I personally feel no objecting to the current stance on USDing

I really don't care about USDing. People whine and complain about a lack of items, however, you're completely ignoring the fact that USDing does in fact keep items in circulation.

So your saying it's justified Kyden? That it's okay that a person who doesn't have $150 (And I say that because I have af riend who made that much off of it) should be punished by not having decent items?

That the best PK'ers should always be those who hack, steal, cheat, or USD their way to victory, instead of those who earn it?

To hell with 'keeping it in circulation'. I'd rather all the good items die then allow USD'ing, atleast it -finally- puts everyone on an equal footing.

That's also "bull". I've never spent a dime on GK items, and I had my fair share of PKing

While we're on the topic of earning things, are you going to tell me that sitting in front of a computer has more merit than getting a job and earning your own money to do with as you please?

As this is a game targetted towards a younger audience, some understanding regarding age and legal age of employment is due.

Otherwise, I agree - GET A JOB YOU HIPPIES!

Well by having people USD, like others said, it keeps items in flow. There still working for the items. But they work for the money rather than work on the game.

Frankly, if a few one of a kind items went out of circulation, it wouldn't stab me too deeply. I'm not a huge critic of USDing, but dropping a few 'LOLLERSKATES I WANT 12+ ROWS FOR THES SHIELD!!' items would probably do alot to help the economy.

work on making all the items we do have craftable. make new monsters you'd have to kill to harvest their parts and craft these items. then things will be just rare enough to stop making a row worth 50$.

Hey, when I was 12 I was mowing the neighbor's lawn for $20. Under 13 or so you probably shouldn't even be playing a game like Graal.

I agree with bosh. (amazing, isn't it?)
The best way to stop USDing is to make everything craftable or findable, like the game GK was based on: Crossfire.

I don't mean make them easy to craft or find, either, since that would ruin the game further (like the free +12ing did). Just make it possible.

Wont Happen, too many people will complain, like those who spent 300$+ on items lol People will always USD as long as there is no punishment.

try re-releasing some of the items that may or may not lower prices

too bad then. this is a game and the items should be earned in the game, not with real life riches.

that means Bjorn would have to put in the work. i don't think he would like the idea of having all items craftable. getting bjorn to do something to improve the gameplay of gk is like driving a nail into solid iron. this will probably never happen.

Though I would love to see it happen

Crafting existing items again would be pointless, it would ruin what everyone had saved for, say they had been saving up for months for an item. they pay 1000 dias for it and then the next day it turns out to be craftable and now only worth 10 dias, this will annoy alot of players.

new items would be nice, perhaps items with realistic stats tho

You're making the assumption that the crafting would be easy. Personally I'm preferring the flavor of rare items which monsters drop, etc.

Even if it was hard to craft an item people would still be able to do it easier then trading for that item now, its much more enjoyable to have to save up for something and then finally getting it rather then just thinking "oh hey im bored ill go make some rows brb"

I dont believe they meant rows they meant:equipment such as: armor, shields
swords and daggers

I doubt any rings would be craftable, and truely whats to get mad about, you already have the items, less work for you, is it That much to be better than everyone else that you cant give them a chance to get good items?

I was just using that as an example, and no it isnt fair for the people who already have the equipment because they will spent many hours saving up for it

Heres the thing. USDing will never stop here, as it will never stop on other games. People like me are simply LAZY and really dont care to do anything like kissing the rear of event masters to get items.

But, to implement my idea would significantly lower the prices and need of all these items. If RoW's were alchable, we would see a demand drop becuase the supply would skyrocket, no matter what was neeeded to make it. People will hunt that monster and get the parts until their fingers fell off.

You cant stop usding, but you can control it. Last I talked to bjorn he would like to see things craftable. I say good, do it.

I'd like to see some items become craftable as well. Even if it was only for awhile. Like the Ice Dagger and Flame Ice Dagger were craftable for awhile. Not sure why there not craftable anymore...

It would be nice if some of the older items, that are stuck on dead accounts, were to become craftable aswell.

Like Bosh said, If RoW's were to become alchable, even if only for awhile, there would be a HUGE drop in prices, since everyone could get there hands on one.
