Hey I got an idea that probably have a ton of answers from everyone but staff, except Sam.

Just because Sam is cool.

Sam actually plays GK and helps us all out with the Misty Mug Tavern, did you know he likes the newer players too like I do in a way.

Funny that Bjorn is the head god man of GK and when I see him on GK, he is either IDLE or complaining about work and then logging off. Huh, well thats just great but lets get a grip on it.

If we had one ACTIVE LAT like staff member on GK we could more then easily fix tons of bugs.

Hey wheres the events at? I haven't seen an event in ages now. And these event coins are exspensive to buy from players, that won't even accept platinum. Diamonds are the currency, yet I can't even buy a diamond with plat.

Level 110, how do you fight God? You don't really, you just kind of jab at it with a string and go "AHH Please dont kill me god person sir". Then they look at you and go "HAH" *splat" and your dead.

I hear all sorts of things and ideas daily, and there are no active staff to implement any of them. It's really a wonder GK is still even alive.

Oh, I like the ideas of chickens too, but seriously, graphics and a gani arent too hard to do. I asume thats all you have left as you can create a chicken egg with create food allready. It runs around, and dies and you get food, which is neat.

**I redid a gani and a graphics in a single hour, and you take a month?!?
**Hey if you read this, say something, theres too many problems and not enough people to help fix it. Say something so we know whats really going down.

It isnt alive. Everyones quit. GK isnt the same. Its to boring nowadays.

Why do you think its boring, nobody touches it. They got all sorts of ideas.

Alot of ideas are dumb, yea fine, but that doesnt count for the other 400 that are actually decent.

As I see it now, Kingdoms have to do things For the staff and go HERE, Eat it now.

Have to spoon feed them or something.

there needs to be more active staff that can actually do something.
same with globals, really.
I was a global before, and couldn't do anything except talk and try and convince the manager to do something. If I couldn't do that, nothing ever changed. I couldn't even remove someone that was banning everyone on the server without asking permission. The same thing seems to be happening with the staff on gk - if they do somehow manage to aquire the position of staff on the pay server, they can't do anything because uppre management doesn't trust them. or if they actually -can- do something, it seems like they never do. (as opposed to the older staff that did a lot, but none of it was legit or for anyone except a few select players). though, i suppose was better than the current situation of very little ever getting done on gk except an occasional pillory.

oh, and that chicken thing is disgusting. eating a dead bird that was just walking around. ewww.

yes..... we do need more events and if we had the right team working on graphics,levels,pr stuff,etc. we could actually make the game worth paying the amount that we have to pay now.... which is rediculous.

Ahh someone that can actually do something right responds.

Calani would be an excellent person for staff on GK because I know for a fact she does things. I've seen some of her NPC coding allready.

The Event's team is doing all they can with what little powers our ignorant staff gives them.

And Chickens are in works on Debug, I have seen the chicken... and it has hatched for moi.

On all other points, I agree.

Though, I think the only way to solve this is to make Cyberjouers aware. Tell Stefan's boss, and I bet you there'll be an activity boost.

You know what this requires either a Coup de' etat, oorrr it requires the firing of many questionable staff members and the hiring of some of the oldest and most trusted memebrs or people, that can actually do the job right, I mean seriously, staff should do more than just exist.

Yea, I know that Debug is pretty cool and all, but why do we need all the other scum from Valikoria and other worlds popping in on Debug to give us some crazy idea. We have plenty of ideas to go through.

I also see inactive GK players and old staff that didnt get things done anyways on there. Malinko is one of those examples, he gave us a Tileset that almost didnt work right.

anywhoo, things DO need to change around this place, It does tend to become boring waiting for things to change and hearing about them 2 years earlier and stuff.(erhem for some of you uptights the two years was an exaguration, made out of sarcasm)
and yes, the fact of hafting to practiacaly pry event coins out of some people withh everything I own, just for one item I find verry tedious and time consuming.

We can only run so many events.

The events team is much more active than it used to be, in my opinion. But we can't do much outside the confines of our own imagination. Sam provides us with the tools we need to run creative events, but they're not anything outside of the normal runnings of the game.

As for Debug, I can't say. I have never had access.

That two years thing isn't that far off the mark.
Staff were talking about redoing the spells for about that long before anything happened.

I remember, about a year ago now, that Stefan asked me directly to work on spell animations, which i happily went about doing. I had wanted to before anyways, because i thought most of them sucked. I went on to make a list of all the current animations for all the spells (released or not) and how they could be improved.
After two-three days of working on that, I posted it on the forums (Gk dev forum) for other staff to make comments on, and asked if someone could help me with graphics. All i needed was very simple graphics, such as a recolor here, a white circle there, a line, a semicircle, etc. since I had no way of doing transparency. I asked several times over the next few months, as well as bugged people on RC about it, but to no avail. I was ignored every time, and thus, couldn't complete the project. I made a few animations using graphics I found elsewhere, but none of them were ever used. (ex: divine shock / ball lightning, burning hands, firebolt, laming aura)

There's a lot of activity on Debug (or at least was while i still had debug acces... I was removed from global for not being able to log on (actual: they didn't know where i went... yet i left a note in.. three places? -.-), and i'm sure things have changed a bit. Anyways, there was a lot of activity on debug, though most of it consisted of talking and idling. >.>
Those that actually did work were ignored for the most part.

I hate to rant like this, but things do need to change.

What I find ironic is the fact that there are UC (invisible) servers that have more activity and less corruption than Graal's official pay server.

Stefan and the developer team are working on several things at the moment. Dont forget that some of the developers have also to do some other thing here on Graal and irl.
Good things need time. Stefan told me he will support us more asap.

Yeap, exactly. We have some new developers right now that are working on some pretty exciting things.

But, Dayaa, you should know that if you have a complaint about GK you should take it to a support ticket. Not very responsible, I feel.
