Well, Alpha could use a few changes to make it better.

But the general idea behind Alpha was awesome.

guild wars is like alpha in my opinion x.x teams, nonstop killing, except guild wars u cant respawn...

Nope.

I voted yes. It seems a lot of people think the same. I asked Stefan a long time ago when Alpha was taken away if it would be back and if I remember correctly he said he still had the map.

Alpha is different. It has chosen teams, tents, proxies (>:]) and you can warp back up to the dropship to stock up on supplies.

Alpha was a little laggy, normally 3 or 4 people, and I loved going in without choosing a team.

Alpha r0x3d t3h s0c|<s on Zone. It was the perfect spot to have a random spar with a random weapon, and it was pretty nice. I do very much want CTF first, however.

Mine detectors don't blow mines up! They do what they are called! Detect mines...

techinically theyr not invisible....just underground/burried

i do believe, tho...that there should be a slight bump in the ground to show theres a mine...if u pay close attention....but not so obvious as to be like WOW a mine.....*walks aside*

Even visible they're a problem, alot less than invisible, but still a problem. I die from visible speeder mines alot because I always have to dodge while fighting and I somehow end up stepping on the blasted things.

I agree. Just because a mine is visible doesn't mean that it is completly avoidable. That and sometimes they blend in with the tiles near Hqs on iricia. I hate that. And touya is right. There should be a way to detect them without the mine detector. Because then you have to dodge bullets, blow up the mines, and have a hard time all around. Proxys should maybe distort some of the tile?

I came up with an idea a while back but no one realy liked it. It was a radar boost that allowed you to detect mines with your radar and you had to have the mine detector. A way to probally get it was an upgrade in the shop called something like "Radar enhancement".

The bump idea would be good. Using the terrain generator used on GK would make the bump.

alpha sucked, but if it could be clared out a little so there was less lag, i would love it, yes it shouls be brought back with a edited map...less trees.

Anyway... Alpha was my favorite planet. When there was about 15-20 people on it, it was a riot. When there where the regulars (4-5) Then you figured out how they played, and that's when I learned a lot. It was a good planet. Hopefully it wil be revived... Doubt it.

ok, in alfa you can go in and out of the tents and you warp to a random place its so fun and everyone elce who trys gets banned.....

but its alot better the "Zone Wars" no-offence but i can make levels WAY better then that place!

Remove spar rating as we know that is gained by cowardice against fighting better players and preying solely on noobs. Then replace spar planet with alpha for the server guilds or Free For All.
