I offered to be PWA Admin when Ibonic was telling me how disorganized it was and that the team wasnt doing anything which forced him to do all their work.

And yes, I would love to work as PWA.. but im not posting about it every chance I get

As would just about any good and long time graal member. The thing the PWA has mainly lacked is an unbias towards servers. Malinko had and im sure everyone knew a very strong Bias towards Babylon/Unholy Nation.
Calani did as well.
Nemesis did as well.

I think the point I am making here is that people should think about being more unbias when they gain this position.

The origonal rule used to be that PWA could not own/work on a server to keep it from being unbiased. I think this rule should be more enforced even though playerworld is now renting. It needs to stay fair.

Malinko also had somewhat of a bias with Aeon, at the least he is one of its supporters. Calani is as well, and I've talked to her and she's concidering coming back and trying to get her PWA position back, that she only lost because she went away out of nowhere for a while and they weren't sure if she was coming back.

And she was pretty estatic hearing that Malinko was fired, but was sad about growlz quitting.

From what it sounds like is all the old pwa are now wanting to come back for their spots. Other people have been waiting for the chance to get one for awhile (2 Years since the last official "Hiring" where people thought they had a pretty fair chance).

As long as she is not given special treatment or considered above anyone else because of her former position. Then i dont think anyone would have a problem with her giving it a go along with everyone else.

As you said though she was pretty Biased with servers, and I believe since Lyndzey agreed with me, im certain many people will as well, that would need to stop.

I agree that high staff positions can be excellent indicators of how a person will behave on duty. Administrators of any sort that have a role in how a server operates (LAT Admins who hire LATs, NAT Admins who hire NATs) could be good candidates because they have learned to judge character and have the responsibility of managing their own departments on many servers. Same goes for managers.

It would seem not.

But, considering Calani wasn't so much fired, she was just removed because they weren't sure she was coming back, I think she should be given back her position. I'm not sure if I was around for, or knew anything about globals or any of that when protagonist was a PWA. So I wouldn't know how he did as a PWA, but I think Calani did a good job.

I'm not against Protagonist being a PWA though, I think the spot needs people with experience. And if Protagonist and Calani got their spots back, that would still leave one spot open, wouldn't it? There's ussually only one open for someone to be hired anyways, so it wouldn't be too different.

Unless, of course, I've gotten the wrong idea on how it all works. But this is how I've seen it.

Choose someone new or don't choose anyone for PWA at all. Heck, what do PWA even do these days?

NOT much. They are just a distraction.

I agree.
The people who were removed also did not have the best activity track record. Calani was often on babylon and often calling herself "Server Manager" because she always wanted to run the server, and Alex would never give it up.

I think it would be a good move to get some new people and let them prove themselves. How much worse then it has already been can it get? Chances really are it can only get better.

thats sad to hear GowlZ quit. I remeber helping him learn to script back on Sanstrata like 4 or 5 years ago, he was eager to learn, and motivated - i am proud to see how far my former padawan of gscript went. but i do wish him well on his new path, whatever it may be.

Calani cheated her way into the PWA via the apps. I wouldn't let her back.

I would definitely like to be a PWA. Without bias to any server (I server hop often) and some experience in most fields of work on Graal I'd do pretty well, I assume.

Anyone could easily throw their name into that hat, and I would join you, becase I think PWA needs some respectable members who would do their job when needed. I am always checking out new servers and trying to compliment and motivate them only to see them shutdown later

We need motivated good pwa in order to motivate good servers to finish. If the PWA arent trying to motivate people, they will quit, and the classic list will be virtually unchanging.

Edit: I also think its pretty clear most people would like to see new members as PWA. Its also pretty clear that no one has an ideal way to make it really fair for everyone.

I have already put forward my opinions on a new playerworld administration team, and better organisation, to the global staff and higher admins. Hopefully something will eventually be done.

I don't see how an application is unfair.

That being said, let the current PWA, Stefan and Unixmad decide.

I never really said it was unfair persay, but I believe that even you could agree that when people who are mostly unpaid employees would have a decision between doing something for free with their friends and slacking off, or doing something for free with someone who would grind them to help out, probably 9/10 times the people will go for their friends.

An application is obviously the most fair choice, but when there were no applications look what happened. Stefan picked malinko, who managed to work his way in, and look what happened. Sure he did his job well to the public eye, but there are so many proof-positive reports of him doing highly corrupt things with his power.

Not saying anyone else couldnt do something with the power, but its less likely if you consider more canadates who are really gunning for the position and the chance.
