What you are implying is that every leader in Zormite gets met with harshness no matter what, and that's not entirely true.

Also... I understand that Kingdoms need to change from time to time, but to ignore the kingdom's history is going to destroy it. Zormite has always been about fish people.

While it falls within the authority of a kingdom leader to change the kingdom's flag, government system, colours and even name, changing race is not possible. Except it wasn't. Because that would have been impossible. Bel'la Olplyn was a kingdom of Zormites who claimed to be Drow because that's what the conventions of RP dictate they had to be.

My post was slightly mistaken. It is possible for Etien and Kefkin to have been Drow, but it is not possible for a Bel'la Olplyn to have been a Drow kingdom. Etien and Kefkin can't simply declare all Zormite RP characters dead just because they happen to have political authority over the kingdom.

Secondly, 'communism' is an annoying, misunderstood buzz word. I would prefer that we call this a socialist republic, like it was before. You're all startled by the flag, but I explained it. It is not in any way representative of an essential political change. It is a republic, it will be a republic as long as I hold breath.

Finally, all Zormite leaders - are - met with hostility, and elitism, and 2k1ism. Wren was, Of course etien was, ZH was, and I am. It's not unexpected.

Believe it or not, I actually HAD read that story in English a few years ago, and this year I reread it in AP. Good reference, but fundamentally flawed in that there is a definate yet unexplainable difference between a kingdom's preferred color swatch and blind faith in luck-of-the-draw murder.

But Matthew is clearly making large efforts to do his best with the idea. So instead of shouting prophecies of doom, etc... why not just watch and see how it turns out?

I understand that people have problems with history and such, and I'm not saying I disagree.

However, the biggest thing I see is this is a step in the right direction. Matt is trying something and getting the ball rolling.

I've tried to start something new for Samurai, to increase some RPing... but now it's going on 3 weeks I think on waiting for it to be uploaded. Hopefully you'll see it soon.
