Graal: World War (New Concept Storyline)

If a moderator could close my previous topic in this section I would be greatful. After talking with Codein who is our new GFX Admin he has helped me come up with this new storyline.

Graal Military - The Government trained and funded military who listen to no one but the Government. Highly trained and heavily equiped.

Graal Rebels - The citizens of Graal fighting for their rights and freedom. Allthough not as expierienced as the Military they
do have their share of training and weapons.

Storyline:
The Graal government imposed a Martial Law on the citizens of Graal, they have no rights nor freedoms. They have stationed soldiers throughout Graal, raised taxes and have even started using slave labour. A rebellion was formed, slowly fighting the Military to regain their rights and freedoms back, by any means possible.

Gameplay:
You will start off in a lobby a non-pk zone you will be able to chat and join a team. Once you join that team you will placed in the current map near your team members, each map will have different objectives for each team. The map could be on a beach, city or even a country-side or forest. You will have objectives like blowing up buildings, capturing certain cities in the map and maybe a few more. Whenever a team wins by completing all their objectives everyone gets sent back the lobby and get to pick their new team and play on another map.

Well its just a concept, the time period is graal future-ish with war guns from various world wars... and other features not swords and classic shields.

Just because someone doesn't say something doesn't mean it isn't true. That may be the case in this situation, but not always.

He says it involves a player choosing a side at the beginning and sticking with it.

He says the player is involved in a constant world where battles are being fought.

I made the tiles, and I was improving them near enough daily. You haven't even seen half of my work on the old tileset. What work did you do? None. Is Hotrian considered good? No. You were a liability, a total waste of time and space.

I think this would be good, even using the default bodies;
Using a courch gani, a prone gani, grenade throwing, And if you make good use of the particle system, and have a nice looking tileset, then this project would be extremely easy to maintain.

Seeing as we have ALOT of history on this subject to base map designs off, weaponry referances. And a nice 360 targetting system, similer way to how a bow on graal works, if courch and behind a certain ammount of tiles your covered, and if proned, 1 tile and so on.

That would probably work well.

Year 10 is the UK is when you need to revise ready for GCSE Mocks, Not that i ever did revise lol, I spent more time messing around and enjoying life, but i still passed.

Still seems silly to me, and also mentally derranged. There are other crimes people would be appauled to simulate, yet, other crimes which are still very severe like murder and torture, people are happy to perform.

Seems to me like the passive-aggressive's addiction to sarcasm sort of deal. People who provoke other people to anger, who are sarcastic and indirect, yet harbor resentment and violence toward them. It often comes out in bursts, including anger, fights, and, yes, even murder. Such other things can be things like avoiding the person, disrespecting them, not acknowledging them, overcriticizing them, etc.

So, do you think getting your kicks simulating murder on a computer game comes from a healthy place? Do you think it helps? I don't. I think it's something that should be healed.

It would not be fun playing a rapist in a game, yet I am sure some people secretly would think it'd be fun if the rest of society wasn't so serious about the issue. The reality is that everyone who plays games and enjoys simulating murder harbors resentment and unhealthy thoughts. I can see your point quite clearly, but you've made one small mistake. Players and characters respawn, and people expect and know they will respawn after so long, unlike in real life. If people actually died through being killed via a game, players would definitely not kill.

I suppose the whole point in playing is to feel power, and it is natural to want power, or to be above someone else.

And in my school, the first 3 years are biggest years. UNless u do bad in year9, then u have to make it u p in year 10 and 11. But i would think 11 is the biggest one.

The version you saw, yeah, maybe. I was giving up on the project and I was keeping it for something else. The scripts were mediocre, and you were driving people away. You were like a rotting fish to the project.

I wiped you, Hotrian and Moondeath. Nothing too significant. Luc and DarkLux, the better of all you three, have stayed on board and we have a new Project, we've got 2 other people on board aswell, and we're doing better than I would have done with you, the rotting fish, on the project.

Uh last time i talked to vahn, we were cool. And he was still working there when i didnt have my laptop. Vahn also showed me alot of his animating work, and i say it must be far better than lux. Its like writing a paper, Hotrian may have sloppy handwriting, but his words are far better than a paper contiga wrote. Rapidwolve could not script for ****. He was a lil ***** also. You're losing your stance
Vahn is nothing compared to Lux, full stop. Lux is known for what he does, and besides, you annoyed him, you annoyed everyone.

In conclusion, you just suck at managing a playerworld. Stop trying to find ways to make me look like a bad one even though ignorancy was upon some. Contiga works on different playerworlds, so why use him as your example. Use someone who was a determined scripter.
