Hi, I need the ShowText script.

Erm, I've asked certain developers for this script but I'm after a script that shows text at the bottom right corner of the screen and is like a status bar.

I was told it was a showtext script?

E.g. the hat shop in UN thats what I mean.

This is if you want it to be on one position of the screen

NPC Code:

If you want it in the bottom-right, you'll have to style it to the right, otherwise it'll go off the screen..

Or if you're doing it his way, you can just put it between "font" and "text".

They forgot to mention, but those codes will only work on V4 on a GS2 enabled server.

Arg the nightmare... I still get people asking me if I'd like to restock the hatshop just cause my freaking "Enjoy the hatshop ~Angelus+my pic" are in there >.<


Anyhow simply use screenwidth-#value and screenhight-#value to replace the x and y variables in the normal showimg/showtext (whatever you prefer) command.

Example

showimg 1,@Tempus Sans ITC@This is a text!,screenwidth-50,screenhight-20;

What part don't you understand? The showtext command, the coordinates you should use, the circumstances under which you should use the command, or what? Do not ask for scripts, but feel free to ask for help making them.

Thing is, if you read the desc. of the board you'll see it says something about asking the pro's. So I am asking the pros for the script

Im not a NPC developer, I strictly do level developing.

I know what the showtext script is, its often used with other strings and values to make the text a different color or font.

Anyway.

I always wondered what made using the @@@ format deprecated. It's something that even Stefan uses quite regularly.
