About Mortaring

Very few people can disagree with what I'm about to say: Mortar should hurt the person who fires it, if he/she somehow manages to get caught in the blast. EXAMPLE: Inside Base 1, it is extremely easy to lame using mortars by firing them at the table near the warp spot. Also, a person standing near the "Front" entrance to Base 1 (Near the ladders, facing the trench walls on the Base 1 cliff-area) can easily prevent anyone from capturing the base by literally blowing himself up without dying. I AM NOT ASKING FOR FRIENDLY FIRE TO BE RE-ADDED. Just for mortar to hurt the person who fires it if he/she is caught in the blast. Thank you.

Agreed. Mortars shouldn't be able to detonate if they land in a spawn Zone... Anubis does that all too often -.-

I think it should be allowed to fire at spawn zones, but if you blast yourself you should get hurt as well.

Oh... so not laming for 2 weeks makes you not a lamer?

They shouldn't be able to be fired onto a spawn zone, the people who spawn keep getting pounded with mortars and have no way to escape.

I agree im just saying your example of someone who uses it was unjust.

how about ppl r invincible while on home base platforms but when they come off it they get pounded.

Agreed with all but the anubis comment.

But in Anubis's defense... He only did that one or two times and there isn't ANYONE who hasn't posted on this thread who can say they haven't ever lamed.

only works for 5 seconds, cant hurt ppl while on the plat form, there, problem solved.

Someone with alot of bounty can just stand their for 5 hours and watch their bounty grow and grow.

well, i dont think they should be invincible the whole time they are on it, but maybe give them 4-5 seconds of invincibility, this would still eliminate spawn killers, unless the people spawning are that horrible....but they should be immortal for few seconds, rather than just staying on the base

Hmm... let's see. How about when shooting mortars they cannot be placed near enemy HQ's. E.g When you walk within mortar firing range of an enemy HQ it will say "You are too close to the enemy base to use your mortar. You ****ing lamer!" (Second sentence is optional).

ROFL!!!!! I like the second sentence. I like the idea though.
