Install fails on amd64

NPC Code:
$ sh graalinstall.sh
Verifying archive integrity...head: `-329' option is obsolete; use `-n 329' since this will be removed in the future
All good.
head: `-329' option is obsolete; use `-n 329' since this will be removed in the future
Uncompressing Graal client install for Linux 3.151............................................. ......................
tail: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future
This installation doesn't support glibc-2.0 on Linux / AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-37
(tried to run setup)
The setup program seems to have failed on AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-37/glibc-2.0

Please fix.

You have installed 32bit compatibility libraries ?

Everyone always tells me "Graal doesn't work on 64 bit" but here I am, playing Graal on 64 bit. Like Stefan said, I think it's compatability libraries or something like that.

Yes, I have. I can use a previously installed outdated version of Graal just fine. Did you add new dependencies?

It would help if the error message stated which libraries were missing.

Also, placing whitespace before punctuation is generally not acceptable outside of French >:(

Relying compatibility libraries is a stupid hack. It is not much different than saying "OS X works on x86 just fine, you just need to run a ppc emulator" some years ago. It requires a lot of duplication of code and configuration and is pretty annoying. If Stefan did not have better things to do, I would again suggest that he just builds some 64bit binaries.

The problem is that the installer requires libraries which might not exist on your computer. There are a few libraries which cannot be statically linked or it is not legal to statically link them (e.g. SDL). You might have an installation which only supports programs compiled against the 64 bit libraries, then you need to install the 32 bit libraries to be able to run programs that are linked against the 32 bit libraries. With v4 it should work better.

Eh, this is about graal installer, not graal3 itself.
It uses Gtk, if I remember correctly. Do you have those libs?

The installer uses gtk 1.2 or so and if it's not existing then its doing the installation text-based
