Are there any new sound controls on v4? Like to the point that you could do visual effects for music like those you might find when you're playing a cd in windows media player?
If so how would you use those?

Now that's an interesting idea.
Beat detection would be simple enough, though it would have to be hardcoded in the exe. Tracking the different voices would be *very* handy for visualizations, so you could have one effect for each voice (basically instrument.. more complex than that but it gets the point across).. though it would be exceedingly hard to make.
