Future improvement for GraalScript

one word: rotateimg
or, textured triangles so you can custom-texture 3d polys and make a graphics engine inside graal. this would also get rid of the need for multiple sprites in weapons, vehicles, etc, and would be easy to implement, as it would be a direct wrap to driectx.

It is the 'rotation' property used along with findimg(). However, I'm not sure if this is part of GScript2, or the particle engine included in v4.

Huh? GScript itself doesn't contain implementation for any of its functions. It's just a language used to invoke the engine's functionality.

You can rotate showimgs right. That is mainly interesting for projectiles or particles though, because rotating the player would mess up the perspective I guess.
It is planned that you can use showpoly with images, eventually also specifying the texture coordinates.

Then I guess it is included with the particle engine.

I'm talking about using it for weapon sprites or other such things... possibly vehicles also.

I've never even heard of being able to rotate images though o.O anyone care to explain how / point me to where I can learn?

NPC Code:

findimg(index).rotation = # of radians;
