its called open the PNG, and save it as a gif or jpg. I think MSpaint takes both

Most people use fancy shamnsy graphic makers,but I stick with paint. =D

For some reason, Paint users lose the ability to edit GIFs when they upgrade to IE 5.X.

I can save it as like 1 of 20 things

since i got Adobe, when i open gifs, pngs, jpgs, etc etc etc. its give me the option of saving it as bsacially whatever type i want

i just download htis program called "IrfanView" and it looks like it will work but its confusing me.

That program is the easiest thing converter the world. Open the png, then click Save, and select the type of image you want to save it as from the File Type menu. Or even easier, open the png, copy it, paste it in Paint, then after your done in paint, copy it, paste it in Infanview, and save it.

Just pick a mirror, if it shows their locations, pick the one that closest to where you live (slightly faster connection).

Get the new version of Paint Shop Pro from there, it's great for making bomys and other graal images, i use it all the time and it's not that hard to figure out.

Yo dawgs! I use PSP 7.01, Adobe 6, or GIMP for my whatnot. But I like PSP best for detailed work. If I need to convert a file type and don't want to open a paint program then I use Advanced Batch Converter (cnet.com search for it), it works perfectly and quickly without using any hardly and ram/cpu memory.
