Grass detail is bland and boring, improve the dirt detail, and there are tile errors in your cliffs.

Fix your cliffs diagonally. You've got the tiles going for the end of the cliffs not the actual diagonal tiles near the bottom.
Path is bland and boring.
Detail up the grass a bit, don't drop the shredded deep grass on everything.
Re-opened the picture and looked at the cliffs. They're mostly all wrong. Even the cave opening and everything.
Revised rate to 3/10

I'd suggest re-trying the cliff work. They are one big tile error.

not bad at all!

add more detail, "detail" the sand, detail the water, make the cliffs more flexable and boom, it'll look hawt.

I'll give you a 5/10

It's not used in a repeated/bland form however.

Of all "grass" tiles, that one can be used the most without looking crappy, if you do it right.

once you overuse a tile, it degrades the overall quality of the level.

Upon first glance, I notice nothing but a huge array of grass. If I were to critique further, I'd even go so far as to say that your level has too much detail. Call me old fashioned, but I like my levels simple, with a fair amount of detail, but not nearly as much as shown in yours.
Not to make it seem like I'm shifting critisism only one way, I also have to say that Fowl's level is bordering on too much detail.

That is like saying overusing a certain color of paint in a piece of artwork will degrade the picture.

Tiles can not be overused, just misused.

That's not overuse, thats misuse!

it would be possible to have that many of those tiles on a single level and have them be much better looking than that.

And actually try zooming into the level I made, and paying attention to it. if you were to remove too many of those tiles, there would be large empty grass patches, and it would give it the effect of cut&paste detail

The first picture is a Tile Error, not a "misuse".

A misuse is using a tile poorly, or incorrectly, to achieve your desired effect. In your picture, I'm assuming the "desired effect" besides proving me wrong, would be to detail the water. You did not use "too much" detail, you just did a poor job of it.

If I was to say "My favorite color is ylewol" that is clearly a typing error, not a misuse of the word "ylewol".

A misuse is not a mistake. It is poor useage.

Already expained. You massed a large number of tiles in a small area with little to no thought put into the placement of them.

It is an error in spelling, yes, but not an error in meaning. However, you are erroneously using the meaning of "misuse," confusing it with "overuse."

A misuse of something is to use it incorrectly (not poorly), which is to use something erroneously.
"poor

Poor doesn't equal incorrect.

The area and thought of placement are irrelevant. The tiles were used correctly in the latter example. They may not look good, but that is opinion, not fact.

Edit:
Closing statement. I strongly advise you open a dictionary look up the meanings of both misuse and overuse. As much as you seen to not want to admitit, you have been getting it wrong.

That is exactly what I said. You can use tiles poorly, but that does not make them tile errors. Your dirt/water example was an error, not poor useage. It was incorrect.

Thought and area of placement are just about everything but irrelevant in level making, which shows how knowledgeable you are on the partcular subject.

There are no errors, as you said, just misusage of the tiles in question. If you had used more or less, the river would still look poor.

I have no problem with people not liking something. However one of the people liked "classic" style leveling, which is not how I, or the person who is attempting to improve, are aiming for.

It is comparable to liking Classical music, and then listening to Rap and complaining to everyone about how the Rap should be more classical. I am not attempting to create a "classic" styled level, and telling me my level is poor because you like classic levels is an unconstructive comment.

About 15 people have seen that level ingame and all loved it, so I'd say no, it is either people who like classic levels, or who are being picky.

Ugh, Nice level FP Add a bit more detail to it and it'll be in the 5-10 range if not already.

Don't listen to UM, however, if you look at the tiles he used add them to your level for better detail.

I have no idea where you pulled out that I was talking specifically to you.

And I don't know, I suppose everyone likes large clumps of cut and paste style detail and flowers spammed everywhere.

Personally, I think his grass detail is horrid, even though the level is set up nicely. To each their own I guess.

It's good.

Just prepare for this, while you are here at the forums -- you will never get a good score. Unless you are a legend or an appreciated level maker, you will always be critized. With that said, making levels look good isn't a priority to a server, especially using the staple Graal tiles. I promise you that making those type of levels will be fine for a server, even though people here will complain. Just keep flying.

I agree, people on this game love to crit other people into the ground, its how Graal works. People will complain and you can't stop it no matter how good you are, I think they'd be fine for a server as well. Spread your wings.
