Sharing of forum accounts is illegal but what about...

Sharing of in-game accounts.

If sharing a fourm account is illegal I'm pretty sure sharing an in-game account is too.

Um way too many people share accounts already.

It's impossible for us to tell everyone that it's illegal, way too many people will get away with it.

Sharing accounts is making Graal lose lots of money. It isn't like we are losing players that are actually paying to help out anyway. Buy an account, use it by yourself, and there is no problems.

Well that's a staff rule... and common sense. It's been a rule like ever since the start of Graal, You cant share your account if you're staff.

When someone who counts says "you have to ban accounts that are shared" then I will inforce it. By that I mean, when Unixmad posts a thread, not until then.

Thanks, just wanted to see if it was legal or not.

No, you don't have to worry, I'm not sharing an account, I was going to if it was legal though.

It might be possible to enforce this rule if the managers of servers help out.

I'm not too sure if some managers are mature enough to handle that though -.-

Like I said, I dont ban people on here-say rules, and then get in trouble for it later
Either Unixmad or Stefan posts that we do it, or we dont do it...
And you KNOW that not all of the Managers will do anything about it, why? Because it will lower the player count.
I have no problem following it if I am sure that is what I am suppose to do, not "Well, I assume that means online accounts too"
The best thing to do is to get Unixmad or Stefan to do a thread on it.

To be honest Lyndzey, not many are , they will be afraid of losing friends and players. What they don't realize it is business and there are no friends in business. But I fault Graal in letting too many people be Manager who do not have the wisdom or maturity to really do what needs to be done in Managing a server. Making levels and scripts and GFX are fine but when it comes to a PW it's the easy part , being able to manage it correctly is the hard part, as so many PWs online are finding out. And who suffers for this? The players do.

So in real life you would screw your friend over to do your job just because they are sharing? Wow thats harsh. Money over friendship. You can replace money but you can't replace friendship.

Anyways it will be pretty hard banning accounts that are shared. What if people use different computers to play graal? The IPs are different even though its one person. Its goning to be hard.

You need friends though. You would go insane if you didn't. You have to have people to talk to. Weither its someone of your own age of your parents. Without them, you'll go nuts and start going postal on people.

No I haven't been there. But those kids that go to schools knocking off the other kids probably don't have friends. Its kind of easy to tell. No friends = sad little child. ANYWAYS we are going off topice and I feel this will be closed soon.

total crap, have you ever heard of a hermit going nuts and shooting people (other than the unabomber)? Last time I checked, I haven't heard anything about my hermit-uncle in utah going nuts and eating everbody in the small town near him.

If you choose to not have friends, or never had friends at all, how could you feel so lonely that you would go insane? Of course someone who wants friends, but is constantly mocked and humiliated may feel this way, but not someone who chooses in their own right to be individual.

First lesson is NEVER mix money and friendships all you do is lose friends and create hard feelings between you and your friends.

Oh, is it? But I don't see you churning out any fantastic scripts. To be a great scripter you need to be darned intelligent, but that's hardly the case for a manager. It's easy. Scripting is not.
Maybe because I don't do scripts?Maybe because I work for a living and have limited time? And if it is so easy why aren't you Managing one ?, I never said anyone can do scripts now did I? The "easy part "s getting all the people together to do projects , the hard part is having them stick with it till a large project is done. Please don't put words in my mouth , I did not belittle anyone who does scripts or GFX or levels , to be good at anything you have to work on it as I am sure you have or you wouldn't be any good at it , but that is not the case with you is it? You are good and thats great for you , you have your "nitche" on this game, a good scripter , if Managing was so easy them why do we constantly have Management problems on servers? Dealing with people is not as easy as you make it sound , you should know this , you are a SuperMod and do it here. But this does not mean you would make a good Manager , not saying you couldn't be , it is something you have not yet done. If I ever have time I may sit down and learn some script but right now is not that time so what I do is limited on that and I have made no secret on that.
You took what I said out of context from the way it was meant and were quick to try to belittle what I do and yet I don't belittle what you do , when I said "that part was easy'" the part of getting the Staff who do these things together was the easy part not what they do , for I have the greastest respect for what my Staff do as well as all others on Graal who have talent in GFX or Script or levels , but if this talent is not directed and focused in the right direction for the server then their talents are wasted. Point is; it has to be managed and brought together to make something great out of it and work as a Team and not individuals.

Ok so choosing to not have friends is ok. But that person is still lonely. I don't care what you say. Its human nature to be like that. We are suppose to socialize with others. Thats just the way we work. It must be hard to not have friends. I would go spaztic without them.

Sorry for double post.

Anyone in their right mind would not go kill someone to show off. Thats plain retarded. I do not think I've ever met a person willing to kill a human being just to show off. That my friend is stupid. AND if they truly do that for kicks,.... they have some sort of mental disorder and they do not value human life.

I managed 2K1 for a short spell. So very boring. Maybe if I didn't have any scripting skill then I'd fall back on something tedious like managing, but only if I was desperate. It's a poor substitute.

Hardly. Not if you want anybody good. But I guess you'd know that.

You implied that managing is more difficult than scripting, when in reality it's nowhere near as demanding. Indeed, it now turns out that you meant something else. I'd apologise for misinterpreting but in this case it was hardly my fault.

Because of poor managers.

I'm not talking about killing. I said "violent crime". That encompasses more than just murder.
It comes down to this , you are good at what you do and enjoy it and that is all that counts as I do. I also stated I don't do scripts which means yes I don't know script, never had the time to sit down and learn script , what I do know is very minor and by no means compare to what you know on scripts but this does not mean I am dumb nor am I saying you said that. If I ever get the chance to study it I will and if I need to know something I will come to a person who is very good at it like you to ask questions.
All I ask is try not to jump to conclusions on what I post , if it appears unclear about something just ask , I will be happy to explain in further detail or try to make it clearer.

Why must you be so hateful? I would think in your position, you would help people more, but all you do is say ugly things, and tell people how much better you are then them. I used to respect you, but your posts here lately have been terrible.

ever heard of John Nash? It's called do what's best for the team and yourself, the team being players and staff... Business does not have to be cold and heartless.

Yes, Kai, I learned about Nash from the movie like everyone else, but it's not like I've taken any real business classes or college level mathematics or anything like that, so um yeah... (I'm not trying to be pissy, so sorry if I come off that way)
