Doomsday Reunion.

Hey!

Well, after talking to Tifa for a while... we decided it would be nice to hold a little Doomsday party with levels, npcs etc. So if you'd like to join in and have a gold/vip account just log on to Asgard. When you log on you will be given 12 hearts, level 3 sword, level 3 shield and many of the NPCs. We're only doing this for fun and enjoyment until the time for the playerworld runs out, so we hope you all have fun and enjoy yourselves.

Well, Asgard is basically Doomsday.
Why can't we all just get together and pay for it and get it's name changed?
Even if tifa doesen't want anything to do with it, someone else like Chaos or Dusty could take over.

I didn't want DD.
I know I feel I let a lot of people down because I didn't keep it up when I had the chance, but I didn't want to manage it.
DD had it's time, people have to accept that. Tifa wanted to take DD down and reassure it would go out with peace, what is so dishonorable about that?
I find it a lot better then leaving it in the wrong hands and it going down a currupted server or a server changed 10 times.

The thing I totally hate about doomsday now is that majority of it's staff and players ended up being newbies who knew nothing of doomsday's past. Tifa shutting down doomsday was great because it prevented misinformed retards from using doomsday.

I remember back when I started working on doomsday, in the haven only era, thos were the days where doomsday was pure fun and plot. Then when I made myriada it started to shift and started to get dull. I'm not saying that the rest of the owners did a bad job, but doomsday ended up with retarded quests, poor levels (besides haven) and REALLY *****IC guilds like (Doomsday FBI) and such, I MEAN COME ON THIS IS A ROLEPLAY PW NOT A SEMI-MEDIEVIL SEMI-MODERN DAY RETARD PW. I don't think they had the FBI in 1600 AD, do you kids think these days?

Some of the staff were really stupid also, take fabolous for example. When I came back to doomsday to work on Ganis, I could tell that the staff did **** all work. Warrlord just made scripts for his own personal use and used them on players, like the warrlord class thing with the bow and arrow. And one of the other things that I think ruined doomsday was the censorship script. Do words really hurt people? If they do, they shouldn't be playing an online game where they come across it every day, anyway.

And now I browse the graal2001 forums and see all this stupidity in the doomsday section, 500 new players who did stuff all for doomsday thinking they are losing something important to them, they lost nothing, compared to what any of the owner/managers lost as each one of them quit. I'm glad it's gone and I'm glad these idiots don't get to play it anymore, they are the ones that ruined it.

People think Tifa did all the work on doomsday, but no one remembers that it was Skyknight, Enervate/Baraka/Rage and I that did majority of the work. I was the one who made the entire main continent and most quests (minus SOME scripting) all by myself. SkyKnight did a lot of work hiring DECENT staff and detering kiddies that wanted a stupid FAQ or ET jobs, while Enervate handled the GP staff awesome. I was always against a server having ET, but as soon as I left, it got introduced, thus ruining an RP PW. I could list about 30 other things that ruined doomsday, but I'm not going to. It's generally allowed for small guest spots from people outside of the community. The rule is meant to stop non-upgraded players from vicariously using the forums. Nobody would expect Jubei to make a Graal account just to post that message.

I've been through this with Jubei before.
This whole, Doomsday had retarded quests, i'm sick of being blamed for that one.
I did'nt make them, i inherited it, and i did the best i could with it.
IF you want to talk about retarded quests, what about the little fillers i inherited like walk in , say heart and bammo you get a heart.

Needless to say yes, i deleted that when we reset Doomsday.
I really hate being blamed for that.

Ok we had *****ic guilds, i accept blame for that, but i was constantly being told , i had to listen to what the players want, so i did.
But hey who made fart.graal and put fart ganis on everyone they didnt like?

Sitting there saying Doomsday sucked because of me serves no purpose, you and Av and whoever can sit there and whine till the pigs come home, it doesnt change anything.

I never claimed i did it all, i simply did the best i could the same as everyone else did.
I always said i inherited it, i inherited a wonderful server and i did my best with it, and it was fun.

17 players logged on today, i almost enjoyed it except for the 5 pm's from retarded players, the usual *why did you shut it down, why did you quit, i hate you , you suck, can i buy dd back*

I didn't know Doomsday was meant to be a role-playing server, i know the most recent DD had a few kingdoms with some retards as leaders.

It wasnt a RP server, other Managers had tried to add RP into it and failed, same as i did, the majority of players didn't want RP.

My absolute favorite time on doomsday was when the only thing on the server was Haven, nothing else. Just Haven.

At that period in time we had it all. Wonderful quests. And all the levels made sense. Even if it was small. I prefer to call it cozy.

Haven on its on was nice, but things change, i didnt innitiate the adding on of Illusia and the rest, that was already in the planning.

well, a little argument led to the tear down of the server and the loss of friends. Its pretty sad but w/e, wats done is done. Asgard is exactly like doomsday so it really still does exist, except for the fact that no one goes there anymore

What I meant is that the levels are not the only thing that made up DD....It was the players, staff, levels, events....community, and all of that is gone, so I dont wish to play on the levels just to be reminded of what used to be

we loaded some levels,scripts, 17 people showed up,
we had some fun, i got pissed off, left, over.

It was a great server, i closed it down, you werent there, you dont know why i did, you didnt feel the pain i felt, you didnt see me cry, do you think it was easy? I was obsessed with Doomsday for 2 years, 16 hours a day sometimes, working, talking, laughing, crying.

I've logged on Graal i think three times since Doomsday was closed down, once on a UC server my friend wanted me to see and i got banned because this </person> set his nick as God, and i said your not God, God is mightier than you, so he banned me for insulting him. :P
