Do you believe everything you read? I wasn't aware that a game with people dueling with swords and guns and being sliced and shot and bleeding and dying was for all ages. I guess I learned something today.

It's perfectly okay for 13 year olds to shoot eachother and bleed on Graal, but it's not okay for them to hear the f word.

No, I made this thread so that people could get an idea of the age bracket for the majority of posters here.

What I just said has everything to do with what I just quoted you on. You just made a statement that Graal is for all ages and I just gave you examples of how it's not. Now instead of admitting that Graal might not be for all ages, you're going to avoid my point and say you don't want to have an "argument".

I started to play this game when I was 10/11 though. And I have to say at that age I was doing worse things than I do now lol.

"Graal was designed by Cyberjoueurs for online gamers between 12 years old to 65 years young. The concept of Graal is to provide a fun alternative to the proliferation of shooter games available today. Here are some of the features in Graal"

So, ok, maybe it isn't for all ages. Very young chiildren, according to the paragraph, shouldn't play it, and I believe parental concent is required (yea, right) for under 13.

When I read the thread, I took it to be a poll for the userbase of Graal. Your post did not say the userbase for the forums.

No. Some of you read things the way you want to read them. The point has always been who can, and do, play Graal, and who can, and do, view the forums. It really doesn't matter what the majority is that actually post a lot on the forums.

This isn't my choice, as I have said a million times. This is the owner of Graal's choice, yet I am continually attacked for it. I just respect the owner of the games wishes, which I don't find hard to do.

I fail to understand why you guys could possibly try to remove the swear filters from the site and make the game 'legitimately' for 13+ only. There IS 'inappropriate' content spewed all across Graal (as with any other popular MMORPG), and I'm sure you can find as much as your heart desires. All Unixmad wants to do is make the game appeal to a wider audience and, frankly, Graal is made for a younger audience. The thing that keeps the older players here, is the community. Older players don't exactly find "OMG S S S D A SLASH OMG KOOL YA" the most inviting part of this game. However, the younger players are here for the 'thrill' or the 'kick' of the game, and not for the community. However, for the community to develop, there needs to be those younger users, otherwise the older players will eventually quit and Graal will die out.
I really think this is the last thing that should be focused on in Graal. We should be trying to get more development done, and not try to make it legitimate for us to swear. Just bypass the god damn thing if you are honestly that desperate to do it, I'm sure no one will be excruciating insulted.
